I named the band Paramore for the Paramour Mansion recording studios after I wrote Decode and hearing the Farris Bros of INXS talking about holding the RockStar show there. The stagename for J.D. Fortune came from J.D. Salinger and the stagename Flame Fortune for the wannabe singer Michael Hutchence was trying to promote in the '80s. I met INXS in '83 at the age of 15 and started writing songs for them and many other bands, including Evanescence and Kings of Leon.
