It can launch a JASSM missile from 1000km away. US satellites can detect the emissions of an S-400 from sapce and pinpoint the radar location.

As for B-2 I didn't find precise numbers but I doubt that B2 has RCS smaller than F-22, because B-2 is 4-6x larger. And this RCS is detectable by modern radars over large distances, well over very small distances in comparison to F-15 generation but it isn't undestructable be sure.

In Yugoslavia F117 was shotdown with a 40-year old Soviet missile which was obsolote. Modifications that Zoltan Dani did with the radar allowed him to see F117 on the radar and fire missile at it. He shot a second F117 which crashed in Croatia and another F16. If we had S300 in that time nato would never dare to attack, if they did average 70+ aircraft they would lose each day.

Problem is, the vast majority of what's out there currently won't track stealth. Yes, some of the brand newest might. But just how many of those are actually out there right now, considering all the thousands and thousands of radars in service now. Technology is a chess game. We knew the day was coming when stealth would be tracked. It is still harder to track than regular planes. That means it can still get closer b4 being picked up. Now it's up to the stand off weapons.
Out of all the thousands of sorties f-117s have flown I don't think losing one to a lucky shot is something to worry about. That will always happen. Stealth tech may not work as well against some of the brand newest radars meant to track it as others, but it will work against the overwhelming majority of what's out there. That includes most of what's currently in Russian service as well.
If you think it is possible to pull off a "lucky shot" with a guided missle then you know nothing about them. Poor opsec and bad planning led to the stealth shootdown.

It can launch a JASSM missile from 1000km away. US satellites can detect the emissions of an S-400 from sapce and pinpoint the radar location.

well one more thing Lockheed said about F-22 that it has from some directions RCS abou -40dBsm which is about 0.1 m^2 steel marble. As for B-2 I didn't find precise numbers but I doubt that B2 has RCS smaller than F-22, because B-2 is 4-6x larger. And this RCS is detectable by modern radars over large distances, well over very small distances in comparison to F-15 generation but it isn't undestructable be sure.

In Yugoslavia F117 was shotdown with a 40-year old Soviet missile which was obsolote. Modifications that Zoltan Dani did with the radar allowed him to see F117 on the radar and fire missile at it. He shot a second F117 which crashed in Croatia and another F16. If we had S300 in that time nato would never dare to attack, if they did average 70+ aircraft they would lose each day.

@Arestaeus unfortunately that little scenario is destroyed by the fact that hundreds of dummy missiles are fired into radar covered areas by US airforces at the beginngin of conflicts now.
The sams track and fire at the drone missiles, they report the sam's location and the stealth aircraft conceal themselves within the missile barrage flying over the area and hit the sam. Different tactics to the old serbia days now....gotta keep up. Only takes a day or two to clean up all SAM's.

@vibasin: Serbs shot that F-117 down with Yugoslav-upgraded SA-3 systems - tuned to use the lower 2GHz radar spectrum, and integrated infrared/thermal imaging.
Not to mention also the F-117 also used the same route used in earlier sorties. A big operational no-no.

To all the russian pride people, that feel the US is done for because of new ru weapons; don't get to excited. The navy has abm technology as well. Actually the USN abm tech is much more advanced than the patriot systems and can engage ballistic missiles before reentry stage. No to mention the air forces capabilities to which has been kept under wraps because of russian advances.

Problem is, the vast majority of what's out there currently won't track stealth. Yes, some of the brand newest might. But just how many of those are actually out there right now, considering all the thousands and thousands of radars in service now. Technology is a chess game. We knew the day was coming when stealth would be tracked. It is still harder to track than regular planes. That means it can still get closer b4 being picked up. Now it's up to the stand off weapons.

Out of all the thousands of sorties f-117s have flown I don't think losing one to a lucky shot is something to worry about. That will always happen. Stealth tech may not work as well against some of the brand newest radars meant to track it as others, but it will work against the overwhelming majority of what's out there. That includes most of what's currently in Russian service as well.

You took the term "lucky shot" too literally. The fact that it has happened only once out of many thousands of sorties means for the most part that a conspiracy of circumstances came together at that particular place and time and the stealth was hit. Perhaps the things you mentioned were part of that. With the many thousands of sorties flown we were going to lose one to enemy action for one reason or another sooner or later. Yes, someone got "lucky" and finally bagged one.

That's because some of the old systems use long-wavelength frequencies which most modern radars no longer use because of jamming vulnerabilities. But it was known all along they could detect stealth. Like I said, bring back those old systems. We'll just jam them and then they won't detect any planes at all. The stealths were in service 10 yrs b4 ANYONE knew we had them. People are still trying to defeat our 1st gen stealth tech. No telling what we may have now in secret.

You missed the point. The f-117 was in service 10 yrs b4 its existance was made public. You don't know where it had flown b4 then. Russian subs used to violate Swedish waters in secret. Who's to say we didn't do the same thing with the stealths. You weren't exactly looking for them. And are you going to blow the dust off of all your 40 yr old systems so you can track it? Some of that is just difference in currency. However, I agree that your weapons tend to be cheaper relative to their abilities. Still, in war 2nd best loses. Expensive weapons that survive beat cheap ones that don't any day of the year. Ask the Arabs. The American-armed Israelis have always defeated the numerically superior and RUSSIAN armed Arabs. And 2x we have defeated Russian armed Iraqis. Yes, the tanks were out dated, but explain the missile systems and Migs we crushed.

Why would we want Iran to have something that increases the threat to us? It's better than anything they currently have. Every plane is not a stealth. Besides, we never said Russian missiles weren't good. We know they are. We and our client states (namely Israel) have lost plenty of planes to Russian AA systems in the past. The sa-2, sa-6 and zsu-23-4 gave Israel all it could handle. And sa-2s claimed a lot of our planes in Viet-Nam.
