I truly fear a film adaptation of such a great graphic novel, inspite of Dave Gibbons agreement with the script. C'mon, they already butchered "300" (in terms of story, not visuals) and from what I heard, they buried "From Hell" in the ground.

They did not butcher "300." It's exactly like the GN, except they gave more time on Leonidas's relationship with his wife. And it was still as retarded as the GN.

I'm not saying that Zack Snyder will be doing a life altering job with "Watchmen." But since he's faithfully adapting a multi-layered, and intelligent comic-book, then the film might end up around that level. :)

Just read the book for the I dunno, 7th time. I'm trying to figure out what would cause Night Owl II to scream in Antarctica. I'd have to say,.. as an adaptation, he screams when he finds that Doctor Manhattan has destroyed Rorschach. They were good friends after all... and his death was not mentioned to Night Owl II in the book. Anyways, from one fan to another, cheers!

Why does roarschach look so clean? Why is Nite Owl screaming?

if you pay atention you can see a few details on the trailer:

1.dr. osterman (manhattan) is holding the hand watch at the accident,

2. you can see the legs of (giant)dr. manhatan on the war scene,

3. the world trade center when the ship comes out of the water

4.the comedian standing on nite owl's ship and nite owl driving on the left.

why does nite owl screams?? don't know, could be when manhattan take silk spectre to mars? like an adaptation. cuz he doesn't screams like that on the comic

no, i was wrong cuz i saw the snow last night, so i was wrong, there are ONLY two options:

1.- WHEN VEIDT DESINTEGRATES TO MANHATTAN AT THE END

or the most posibly option:

2.- when silk spectre fight against veidt and she shot at him and he stop the bullet and then he knock er down, so. nite owl sees it far away, he see to silk spectre lying on the floor thinking that veiDT shot at her, and nite owl and rorschach are coming from a tunel.

at first i didn't think silk spectre's outfit was all that accurate (or Ozymandias's for that matter) but if you look at her's closer it's the same as the novel...just tighter..

going to be a great movie.
