Thank you for this kind video. I am always gonna be his fan and love him. We spent few hours of his life together when he was in Brazil, but enough for us to love him forever.
I Think there are parts of SOME OF tEESE videoS ,that have been taken from RAMONES RAW, pLEase guys be legal, don,t take the job from others to have glory, that is not love for RAMONES...THAT IS A MISERY MIND
@Headbanger142 Fucking idiots! I mean the whole point to a tribute video is to have whatever music that's fitting or by the person we're memorializing!!! Why is there so much conflict with WMG all the time anyway?. I know they owned Sire records (Ramones label in the States before Radioactive) but why kill the sound on this one?
Dee Dee left cause he got tired of The Ramones. And wanted to move on from the mop hair leather jackets, and do something different. And if he wanted to get ''Clean and away from drugs'' He wouldn't have played bass for The Murder Junkies. If he really wanted to get clean and away from drugs, the best treatment would have been to stay in The Ramones.
Are you kidding me..THis band was more so-humble than stuck up but I know they knew they were better than just a band that plays at a small club. They were right!
It's just a shame that people didn't give them the credit they actually deserved while most of them were alive.
i dont know why you guys even babbles about things like that down below.
If you know the history of ramones and seen every interview, movies and so on. you should know everything about them. i have! and thats alot of bullshit i have read from you guys (a special from "markwasthere".

Hardly the 'father of punk'. he merely walked walked thru the door that was knocked down by the likes of johnny thunders. Joey was a nice guy but the only 'real one' in the band was Dee Dee..they never shoulda named a street after just Joey. The other thing I despised about this group was that they canceled many shows after Sire signed them that had been scheduled for smaller clubs because they wanted to play larger venues which is great as long as you don't forget where you came from
You should give Joey more credit than that. You say Dee Dee is the only 'real one', Dee Dee is the jackoff that left The Ramones to pursue a lame ass rap career. Do your homework. Joey deserves it all.
I guess you wrong!the Ramones would never be anything without Joey, because he had a special voice & because of that the ramones were special,of course DeeDee was a great songwriter, but Joey was more "soft" & and wrote more songs than DeeDee.Deedee was the real "punk" in the band,Johnny was the "Chief", Marky/Tommy/Richie was just a drummer & Joey was the voice, the emotional guy who wrote very nice songs, like "I wan't you around" "bye, bye baby" etc...But i respect youre comment!
sure joey was an unreplacable piece of the band. my point was exactly as you state-Dee Dee was the true punk of the band-i am a huge johnny thunders fan myself so perhaps that explains where I am coming from
The Ramones always wanted to get played on the radio and blabla ... They never did thinks like "huh, fuck mtv, we do our own thing" (ok, somehow they did^^) ... they always wanted to be popular and stuff (Dee Dee as well, remember that), but they were too special.
So they accepted it and that was it.
I don't think they ever wanted to be "real punks" ... but they were. they all were punks in their own ways.
Even John. Even Joey. Even Tommy and Marky and Richie.
all of them deserve credit bc if it wasnt for Tommy they wouldnt have formed at all. if it wasnt for Johnny they wouldnt have tht amazing guitar sound. if it wasnt for Joey they wouldnt have a great singer. if it wasnt for Dee Dee they wouldnt have a great song writer.
was lucky enough 2 have met him a bunch of times over the years great guy allways was cool with me me truly loved his fans miss him and the lower e will never be the same
