The show should be sold on DVD. Since bringing back old shows is now in vogue, a "Year in the Life" would be a great model to introduce family drama in the primetime schedule.

This was such a good show compared to the swill that is on now. I had the mini series on VHS but must have tossed it along the way. I wish now I had saved it.

I loved this show,I remember originally watching it because I was an SJP fan from when she was on Square Pegs.I loved the show and I am still an SJP fan years later and I loved Amanda Peterson as a young actress at the time and had such a crush on Trey.I can't believe I was only 13 and 14 when this show was on.

agree with you all-- great show. such a good cast, especially richard kiley, wendy phillips, jayne atkinson and adam arkin. brand and falsey went on to make northern exposure (another favorite). had all the eps on vhs but lost them in a move years ago. would love to watch it again, maybe eventually online through hulu or something.

I love the opening. It is too bad they don't make shows like this anymore. I am so glad that I was able to grow up watching quality shows. PLEASE PUT THIS SHOW ON DVD!

Wow, a minute and 29 second opening theme...you'd never see that today....you don't even see one minute themes now. Too many commercials to fit in and make money on!!

I loved this show when it was on. Great storylines and characters. I was shocked that they cancelled it after just one season when it seemed to be fairly popular.
