is there many job oppurtunities where your out of? what you huys runnin a 1-2 man crew?

2 or 3 w/the captain. Not a lot of jobs at least on boats. Mostly you gotta know somebody -- fishing down here is getting harder w/fewer boats mostly family run. You might find a boat to work on in the bigger harbors but i wouldn't say move here in hopes of getting a job. Lumber mills shut down and a lot of people need jobs

is it hard starting up a business like this?

it's not hard if you can buy a good boat that already has the fishing permits -- and you gotta know how and where to fish. It's a pretty big investment to be sure. I mean if you didn't know fishing it would be a damn hard thing to go from zero to boat owner/captain. If you've worked on boats for a number of years and learned the business that would be the way to go. Our Capt tyler did that out of highschool and eventually got his own boat.

I wish i would have a life on board like you guys. Seems like a job that you never work in your life cause you' love it.

Can you tell me how much your boat cost with equipment?

and how much do you spend daily on expenses. love the fact that your boat is 34 footer. and not some huge boat with nets and stuff.
