I hate all sorts of this new indie rock/pop/electro and I think garage rock/punk is the only form of music near to rock n' roll today that has some chance of surviving. Bands like the Black Lips, Wrong Crowd ... are worth of being supported. Surf music is also cool. And there are/were many black people in rock.
