Love it. But i was wondering if it's possible to cut 1 piece of a track and make that piece one long track by copying and pasting to remix it with another track. Lots of ideas, but can't do them with cd's mixer. :(
mixmeister isnt a very useful tool. I like to have much more freedom and mixmeister makes me feel like I am inside a small box. I cannot use the software for very long before I get all mad.
hi my name german i live in dover nj and i want to know how can i be able to use a korg kp3 using two cdjs, the cdjs are denon DNS 1200 and the mixer it's a denon dnx 120, i have already pluget it to one cdj but i would like to use the kp3 whit both of then i know the only way to used its whit a mixer whit send a return plugs but in you tube i saw a guy using it whit a gemini 3600 dual cd player but it's have to be a way to be able to using whit two desk i really apreciate
you can mix it... i'we ben working with mixmeister for 4 years now and im verry happy... if you have any questions just ask.. i'll be happy to answer them =)
It's a shame that there aren't a lot of effects. There are a few but not nearly as many as VirtualDJ. But, unlike VDJ this allows you to mix tunes seamlessly; VDJ does not.
A turntable being turned off would be a great addition to the software and the ability to convert directly to MP3 is something I have REALLY missed.
I'm not much of a producer, but many have had succsess with Fruity Loops as a PC platform that's not a lot of money and can get you started with production.
According to your profile, you are 30. I have a few years on you. DJing is older than both you & I combined. The first radio DJ goes back to about 1910 or so.
It has changed over the years, but there is no way that you or anyone else can define what a REAL DJ is.
If I told you that both Jason Nevins & the guy who does most of the Syndicated mix shows in the USA for Clearchannel (a former DMC champ) use this program, would it make it REAL DJing? Because guess what? They BOTH use it :)
I must be missing something then, it looked like all you did was drop a few tracks into the program and it beatmatched the intros to the outros and that was it.
Not to contradict you brian but i no that a british radio dj/tv presenter was the first person to use 2 vinyl turntables so there was not gap in sound which in my opinion must make himthe first dj by todays standards ,
i do except radio "djs" were called dj before this but i would refer to them as prestentersor compares !
It doesn't always work so well though djkrisco. There are many tunes that need to be constantly looked after when mixing. I have actually turned off the automatic options as it was driving me round the bend all the time. It kept missing the beat markers so I do it all manually now.
hey brian,i was wondering, can you link your bpm change to your pitch shift?cause when i increase bpm,the pitch doesnt increase(like with a real lp),it just stays the same.
Same when i increase pitch,bpm doesnt increase : (
If you can, I don't know how. What I do is go into PRopertys and adjust the key "Simitones" accordingly. It takes time to get it right but thru trial and error, you can get pretty close.
I stopped by MOB the other day to see if there was anything that needed my attention. Looks to me that the Mobile section is still pretty dead and everyone else has a pretty good handle on the rest of it. This YOutube stuff keeps me very busy anymore.
It's usually on if I'm not totaly engaged in some task, like editing videos or taking care of business stuff. You can find me with my email address which is briansredd @ hotmail dot com
it really is a great program. it's been recomended to me over a year ago to find the keys of songs, and i've been using it for this purpose ever since.

I've got a question:
Is it possible to mix just small part of each song or I must cut the desired part before mixing it into one large mix?

Yeah it CAN do that. However, it does much more. Have a search for my "Discovered" video for a small taste of it's possibilities
