Smokin'Aces part 1 has awesome plot and twists, and part 2 well, it's too short for an action film, there's no character build-up at all. So get Part 1 but hell leave Part 2 :/

The trailer makes it look like an all-out action movie, but in fact it's not straight action, but an action thriller.

There were some things in this film - in comprehensible dialouge etc - that actually IMPROVED the film. Weird eh? I liked how it broke so many rules for films.

The Tremors made the film though. It would no way be as good without them.

The Movie is totally in top 10 of the awesomest movies ever and just to point what would have made it better - if that sniper girl didnt make such fucked up noises, if Ivy died, Alicia Keys was supposed to die either in the elavator or on the stairs, at least one redneck survived, we saw a proper torture scene by that guy with his wicked torture methods and if Buddy Aces Israel survived! Everything else in the movies is of the highest quality and Ryan does it once again :)

It was a very good directed/acted movie... It's just the script was a little off. For example, they could have made it 100 Million instead of only a 1 million dollar hit. 1 Million is a very small ammount for the ammount of cauos caused and the ammount of professional hitman that came from around the globe just for 1 million? But that aside, there where a few floors in it that they could have fixed up in a directors cut, if they had of, this could have been todays scareface.

It's mainly about a Las Vegas entertainer that got in good with the mob.Then he decides to get the information he knows about the mob to the FBI, but needs protection from them, because the mob leader sparatza finds out about him, and sends a shit load of assassins after him. And a whole different story in the movie is based around an old FBI agent Helen I think, who was "murdered" wink wink, by sparatza a long time ago. And that's why I love the ending to this movie ;D, freaks your mind out xD>
