I'm curious who posted this please because my son's photo is in it. I don't mind because we all loved Jerry, just would like to know who is using the pics.
Love Jerry Reed. Great Icon. Reminds me of my dad... Teamster. Longest employed trucker for Clawson Concrete here in Mich. Great memories of those big trucks. James V. L.
It's the first time I have seen this video - and I feel honoured that three of my own photos appear in it. Two I took in Georgia in the 80s when I met him (twice) and the signed photo he did for me. Nice to know I played a little part. I know we can't post links on YouTube but please visit my Reed site. I'm in the UK so search Google for Jerry Reed - The Snowman.
Correction FYI, His name is Jerry Reed Hubbard. Hubbard is his last name. Truly one of a kind. Check out Jerry Donahue's version of The Claw as played on a Fender Telecaster. Jerry R. Hubbard would approve!
i worked with jerry once he needed an amplifier so i lent him mine spent a day together and had a ball oh glen campbell was with us to..great momories
I'm a mainstream jazz saxophonist who admires (and learned from) the playing of giants like Art Pepper, Paul Desmond, James Moody ,Cannonball Adderly, Bud Shank, etc., I must say that from the very first tune I heard Jerry Reed sing and 'pick' I knew I was in the presence of true greatness -- he had the kind of consummate skill and spirit that all of the true greats have. Thanks for the music and the laughs, Jerry - you chased my blues away more than once, believe me! Kirk Feather
I saw Bandit about 25 years ago or so, and only now I am discovering that the Snowman wrote and played all the tunes I loved in that movie and many others...
I'm proud to say I was born on Jerry Reeds 41st Birthday Mr Reed and I also share this B-day with the Late Fred Rogers aka Mr Rodgers we will miss you both
I'm known by another handle now, but back when I was a kid and the Bandit and the Snowman made their first run, I was known as Junebug Jr, I wanted to be there, to cheer along with all the others. I wanted to tell you, Terrific job, with your memorial, for a wonderful entertainer and a great guy. Keep on truckin Jerry, I'm putting the pedal to the metal, and signing off, I'm gone!
A wonderful tribute to a great talent. Jerry & Chet always made my old ears smile. R.I.P. and know that the world is a much better place for having know you.
Great tribute and some cool pics of Jerry...I've always loved his big chop sideburn look best, but he was just as cool when he trimmed 'em back too! We'll sure miss that guitar man.
Great video! I'm gonna miss Jerry Reed. He was one hell of a country singer/guitar player and gave the trucking industry a lot of respect. I love all of his stuff, especially about the trucks. R.I.P buddy!
Thanks for the songs you brought into our lives. We will miss you terribly but now you can join the rest of the angels in the sky and sing with them. This isn't goodbye, just farewell! We love and miss you Jerry!!
I always thought he be a cool guy to sit down and have a beer with and talk about life and i bet he had stories to tell!! RIP Jerry

Folks sit around with their face in a frown
and complain about the way things are
They're happy to receive but they hardly ever wanna give.
Well neighbor Im so tired of complainin'
so in my time remainin'
Im gonna do my best to make the world a better place to live.
Im gonna write a song, the whole wide world can sing
Its gonna be about sunshine and praise every living thing.
Its gonna be about love, the one thing the world needs alot more of.......
