  • The huber needle isn't straight on the end like a traditional hypodermic needle. It has an angle to it designed not remove micro fragments of the bivalve port, increasing the livelyhood of the port itself by decreasing breakdown from adjustments.I'm a CST and do both Lap Band and the Realize implantations.The procedures are straight forward and the results astonishing. Lives are changed by this technology assuming the patients following the instructions. A lot of their success rides on them.

  • You mentioned @ 1:07 that you were using a "hooper" ? needle. What kind of needle is that?

  • @goldenbeth It's a Huber needle. It's a special needle used to access ports like used for the lap band or an Infusa-port
