stanley kamel's character, Dr. Kroger, is way better than the new guy, although the new guy is the first one to be hallucinated by monk, in Mr. Monk is Underwater.
I just found out that Dr kroger died, i was confused as to why monk had a new therepist, but i just found out that the reason was that he died. I miss him on the show.

call me crazy, but maby they could have harold krenshaw replace him, or in a few years if the shows still on the air they could have roy graduate medical school and replace his dad

I don't think they should replace Dr. Kroger, I think he should somehow manage to get by without a psychiatrist for a while. To show that there not replacing him right away.

but in a serious note, i'm really really sad he passed away, the first time i saw this commercial, i thought they were doing character profiles for each character, till i saw the "in memory..." i really miss him
Or they could say he just died, if they kill him off that to me would be the worst thing for the show, for him to die of a heart attack, and monk trying to deal with it, would be the best thing, then in the end of the episode, he is able to come to terms with it and find a new doctor, who they prob sent to help him deal with the death, also I hope in the end he puts up a picture of dr, kroger next to his picture of trudy!
My heart is breaking. His was one of the best characters on tv---understated and always there without being in your face. My prayers are with his fans, friends, and family during this sad time. May Mr Kamel rest in peace. We will miss you always.

I know I did to, when I found out, he really did make the show. I feel so sorry for his family and the char. of monk this will devistate him if they write that he died in the show!
Great guy, broke my heart when I heard he had passed away. I pray his family is doing ok. Sad times when he passed. :(
