  • Jordan always the best in this situation through the ages

  • more like failwell

  • haha sprewell fail

  • That's a beautiful story in the description.

  • at tha begining cambys dunk was nice lol but does anyone know where i can watch an old bulls game online or do i gottta watch espn classic?

  • @SamuraiSwoosh

    He didn't have a girlfriend....

  • @SamuraiSwoosh

It was a travel. He moved the right foot back to get into better position for the drop-step spin. It's not called frequently enough.

  • What MJ did as a Wizard was impressive. When you factor in that he retired for a few years, it gives me hope that Kobe will stick around for a while longer.

  • fuckin idiots hes like 45 he nt comin bac retards

  • @bigezman1 he is 48, he still plays well even in retirement as i seen him at age 46, dominating a young college basketball player here on youtube, do your research son

  • Only if Michael still has a pair of healthy legs, i'm sure he still wants to be back playing his favourite game!

  • can't believe i'm seeing all these people seriously wishing for MJ to spice up the league.... wow.... i mean, i'm glad he isn't as dumb as all these bs talk makes him out to be.... hate to see a senior citizen getting humiliated by kids day in and day out.

  • Jordan would never join the Heat, he would sign with the cavs and win it all with the current squad.

  • I liked the story almost as much as the video:-)

  • HE DID IT AGAIN!

  • when MJ hits the shot, the crowd went crazy! hahaha..:))

  • damn its almost like ppl take him for granted even the announcers, they dont realize they'll probably never see someone like Jordan ever again in there lifetime

oh btw he hit the game-winner.. again.

    GOAT, nuff said.

  • 2:56 najs travel

  • 1:25..owned

    3:55..owned

    4:50..owned..

    5:30..all of the knicks owned..

6:20 He shows them how to guard..

  • @nj23dublin haha well said man

  • travel?? wow first time i saw that in the nba... that is whistled of course

  • Not to pry, but are you still seeing the same gf who went to the game with u?

  • DEFENSE! DEFENSE! DEFENSE! Jordan hits shot.....YEA!!!!!!!!!

  • @Joelfolife Forget the shot.....you said it first, that DEFENSE!

Can you believe people (IN WASHINGTON) tried to disrespect MJ? Why, cause he missed a dunk?

It says a lot to me that all over youtube the ONLY Wizard highlights you can find are Jordan highlights.

  • Wtf is Spree doing?

  • @Akusguany Yeah, seriously. WTF!!

  • The greates of all time

  • MICHAEL is a very powerful name that comes from the Hebrew: מִיכָאֵל / מיכאל‎ (Mikha'el), "who is like ( El )", meaning "Who is like God?" - no wonder why some of the best people in the world were named Michael. Michael Jordan, Michael Jackson, Michael Schumacher, Michael Angelo, ... even the Archangel that slay the devil is Michael.. if you want to have a son someday name him "MICHAEL"; surely another chapter of Greatness will be fulfilled.

  • @dpsd wow, that's a heck of a breakdown....i never thought of that.....that's a unique perspective....good call dpsd!

remember larry bird said, that michael jordan is god?

read psalms 82:6, he probably have based his statement on that....never know....

  • @dpsd Michale Irvin!!! lol

  • i wonder what sprewels stat line was haha

  • i wish they just create a 40 and over league

  • that dunk at 2,50 is really beautiful, seems simple but I dont know why I like it as hell

  • That 1st play was soooo rigged!

  • lol nice game sprewel.

  • Damn how do you do that at 38? Can you imagine what he would've done that night if he was 30? Mike should be banned from the NBA because it's not fair to the other teams. Damn I remember when the NBA had real teams and players that were men.

  • Haha. MJ. He was just THAT good.

I love the story about the game, by the way. I've been in the same boat, but I don't even expect a girl to even give a shit about sports. It's just how it is.

  • lol latrell sprewell was a very good player.

and a aged michael jordan made him look like a rookie haha.

one of the greatest defensive players of all time, the greatest offensive player of all time and well obviously

    THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME

    MJ, never short of spectacular

  • a crazy old man

  • Hoops - great video man. I especially loved you story about you taking your girlfriend to this game; it was very well written and made me feel like I was there. It's amazing how MJ can have someone who "hates" basketball on the edge of her seat, what an entertainer. Purest stroke I've ever seen, I could watch MJ shoot 15 footers forever.

  • Man i remembered that day when i went to that game. AMAZING GAME

  • a 38 anni era ancora un fenomeno!waoooooo

  • sprewell just had his ass handed to him by mike haha

  • dang

  • your a fag

  • G.O.A.T

  • lol spreewel

  • If LeBron finishes his career without any major injuries and surgeries, he can join Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Jordan and Karl Malone as the only players to reach 30,000 career points.

  • lets get this straightened out. when michael jordan was 25, he averaged 32 ppg, 8 rpg, 8 apg, 3 spg, and 1bpg. Also during the playoffs he did even better against the best defensive team in the nba at the time, the detroit pistons. Lebron can't even touch the grease of Michael's bacon... sizzle sizzle - at least not yet

  • Not Good....

    GOD.....

  • The greatest ever. There r a lot of good players, but none come close to the type of will mj had on the court. George Karl really sumed up everything about MJ, he said, "If you want to beat Michael Jordan you literally have to rip out his heart, cause if you leave him with that he his going to find a way to beat you." Dont give me lebron or kobe, they dont have the "ur gonna have to drag me off of this court piece by piece if you want to beat me" mindset that jordan had. No one better.

  • Sprewell sucks

  • GOAT

  • to hoopsencyclopedia:

fantastic vib and article, my favo

  • and dude if lebron played back in the day he wouldve raped anybody because of his body, thats just not fair to say

  • ok ELJUNIOR. beaners obviously know nothing about basketball. im the biggest lebron fan around but he is no where close to MJ. kobe isnt even on mj's level. lebrons gotta hit more game winners and get at least 6 rings to be on mj's level

  • Lebron better the jordan?

we all have our own opinions i guess :p

  • Lol no sorry junior jordans the best ever and always will be. The Bulls were not that great.

  • Its Beautiful.

  • thats why Lebron will never be betta then Jordan Jordan avergaed 4 or 5 game winners a year Lebron has like 2 Orlando, Golden state

  • Yea Now he is With Jordan being 46

  • but no other player in the nba inculding jordan has done what lebron has done in the age of 25 lebron has nobody clutch on his side jodan had scotty

  • actually Jordan had already averaged nearly 38 points a game for a season at that age, without Scotty Pippen or anyone else for that matter. he was also way more clutch throughout his career than Lebron has been.

  • guy at 25 he averaged 8 assist 32 points a game over 2 steals a game..8 rebounds a game a 850 free throw...a... 54% fgs that year ...r u talkin bought the wright jordan...fool lebron will never touch...mj...hes smart hes gunna change his number

  • o i meant 2.9 steals a game so pretty much 3..have a good day

  • Seeing MJ own Sprewell even though he was 38 is awesome. What a punk Sprewell was. Nice game Latrell, you went 0 for 10. He is probably in jail right now. A**hole

  • I was at this game and, as a Knick fan, was cheering him along with most people in the garden that night due to the current state of the knicks.

  • your story made choke up.

  • MJ might fuck around and come back to the league next season and play for the heat , hes been real friendly with pat riley as of late. i wouldnt be shocked, his will to compete cant be matched by no one, at the hall of fame speech,he was talkin like he wanted to get back on the court.. Mj will always be the best because he outshined everyone, even the league itself, and he played in the toughest era were fouls were actually fouls..not this vanilla soft league we watch today

  • great comment dude. i definitely agree. people wanna say that today's era has the best athletes and best defenders and players. ridiculous. yeah maybe they're slightly more athletic and stronger, but that doesn't make you better. it's like saying usain bolt would dominate in the nfl just cuz he's the fastest man on the planet. in a league where teams average over 100 ppg and get ticky tac fouls for laying a pinkie on a guy, yeah.....defense is waaaaaaay better now. MJ GOAT

  • @fhab525 lol funny, but mj is done.

  • @Bossman03 true, but his mark on the game is permanent, he is bigger than the league itself, hes the reason people all over the world wanna play ball and he influenced every part of kobe's game(todays greatest player)

  • @fhab525

well playing for the heat wont happen cuz they got lebron, i dont think lebron deserves to get schooled by Jordan in practice (or wade)

  • @iTzeXile13 YOu know how good Lebron and Wade would become fro mlearning from MJ. Even at his age, MJ can show them things and make them smarter basketball players. Those palyers who cant take it like Kwame Brown, are players that dont really belong in the game. If your being taught by the GOAT, yo ushould listen and stop complaining. because there are so many people who would love to be in that situation.

  • @fhab525 .. only problem with jordan coming back is that he's fat

  • @fhab525 80s to early 90s was really tough but there was a lack of talent in the late 90s. he would dominate today though, one of the main reasons is because there is no hand checking and some other rule changes benefiting the offensive player

  • @fhab525

He's been friendly with Pat Riley for years. He gave him a "shout out" in his H.O.F speech. I didn't read beyond the first "sentence" of your comment because it was so stupid.

  • @vincentrich whats the point of what u just typed ?

  • @fhab525

It was evidence against your assumption that MJ being "friendly" with Pat Riley in itself implies that he may return and play for the Heat. Clearly, critical reasoning isn't your "go-to move." Originally, I was only suggesting that you're an idiot, but now, I'll say it: "YOU'RE AN IDIOT."

....looks like I'm done here. On to the next video! Don't worry, I won't be back to read or s**t on any of your other responses :-)

  • Can you please tell me what he had accomplished so far in Charlotte? Drafting Morrison was a great idea, wasn't it?

  • epic story ;)

  • Liked the story that went along with the game lol..

  • is it me or does everybody seem to shit on the knicks lmaooooo good game for mj tho

  • Michael can come at 60 and still shit on the league. He's an alien.

  • Still the greatest no matter what age

  • very true my friend

  • mj loves to shit on the knicks lol

  • i cant believe that he did it at age 38...like he was just 28

  • sprewell is a bitch ass nigga!! no with mj ok is the basketball god

  • Wow MJ doin it against Kurt thomas, Marcus Camby, Latrell Sprewell, Marc Jackson and Allan Houston; thats amazing. With the exception of Thomas I think the rest were All-Stars.

  • I agree he did it against the last great Knicks team, they went to the Finals 2 years prior to this.

  • man the game is not the same without mj and da bulls whooping ass

  • I love this video! I was lucky enough to tape his game winner against phoenix that year, but i made the mistake of letting someone borrow it, and i never saw it again!

  • MJ23 rules...!

  • sprewell is a punk ass bitch

  • Sprewell dont get mad cause Mj is bussin your ass lol

  • You just see how great jordan is! Playing with basically a new generation of people and still doin his thing

  • Is it just me or did that starting lineup for the Wizards suck tremendously?

  • He did anything he wanted to on the court all over his career.

Nobody was even close to stop him.

    He simply let them suck.

  • spreweel bitch

  • damn the Knicks had a good starting lineup back then...they should of gone to the Finals at least once witht a team like that

  • They did actually, 1999

  • yeah they had all those guys except Marc Jackson.

  • sprewell sucked lol all he did was choke his coach!

  • i'm surprised shandon anderson played for the knicks at this time. He was in the Jazz team that faced the Bulls during 1997 & 1998 championships.

  • That guy was terrible for the Knicks. Him and his former Jazz teammate Howard Eisley. 2 of the worst in the NBA at the time.

  • I beg 2 differ: Howard Eisley was a solid point guard who ran the offense very well, mad smart desicions with the ball , and played 'ok' defensively. The problem was, he had sooo many different coaches within his short tenure w/ The Knicks that the plays he had to run were always changing. That can get confusing, plus the Knicks' "star players" were always hurt.

  • thats a real stupid story

  • MJ was jus too cool for life after he hit that shot.

  • got damn sprewell is 1-12 in the game at 2:44 just shooting bricks

  • Lol Sprewells such a bitch.

  • i mean 1:56

  • lol jordan got lazy at 0:56

  • what a great game and a great story

  • let see kobe do this when he is 38!

  • o he will, he will

  • I'm sure that he will. 38 isn't old.

  • in basketball years thats like 88.

  • knick fans were jumping when he hit the gamewinner. :D

  • Sprewell got owned in this game.

  • Nice story hoops. Greatest player ever. Amazing...

  • If this was Jordan in his prime the Knicks would be eating his ball sacks

  • More then one ball sack? I knew he was awesome but this...?

  • That was a romantic story you told not being funny but I wish I could've seen a live game of MJ I'm glad I did get to see a legend. 20 years old ya'll got the bullshit 30yo we had the best.

  • I was in seventh grade at the time...And ppl still COULDN'T do nothing to an aging Jordan!!!! That showed you how great he was, even in his late thirties!!!

  • sprewell still was a good player atleast he had the heart to hold jordan but he still got schooled

  • god dam i miss jordan

  • i love knicks fans..

they support their team even if their current team arent good. and they appreciate greatness..they cheer for the other teams best player ie michael jordan, kobe, lebron..etc.

  • sprewel is owned by god himsellf!!!

  • he broke sprewell baby!!!

    GOAT!!!!

  • absolutely beautiful what Michael was doing at 38... incredible

  • simply beautiful :)

  • He hits the game winner, and the crowd cheers

    in NY

  • MJ won crowds over all over the league.

  • LMAO sprewell 0/10 on the field

  • sprewell sucks. he has no respect for mj

  • Sprewell is good, he just had a bad game.

  • He was!

  • lol Sprewell couldn't do anything, he was too scared to face MJ.

  • he still had it at 38...AMAZING

  • comes back to burn the knicks one last time

  • MJ DESTROYED SPREEWELL!!!

  • people don't even realize how good this guy was at 35 most guys start slowing down and start retiring, he was 38 and played like a 25 year old.... damn.

  • The greatest!

  • "And although she returned to hating basketball, she would forever tell stories about the one time she saw MJ. This was the essence of what Michael Jordan was to the world. "

    Goosebumps.

I'm 17 years old, never had a chance to watch MJ live, but having seen so many games from him, he was, and still is the GOAT. Not Kobe, not LeBron, only MJ. The guy changed the game.

  • age 38 still shittin on the knicks LOL, sprewell should bow down to MJ wat da fuck wrong wit him, disrespectin the god of basketball is unnaceptable.

  • Nobody will EVER touch that mother fucker. MJ, the greatest ever... by far!

  • i was at this game

  • good description by poster... i liked the part where you told your gf that he was gonna get the last shot and make it haha

  • tim duncan 2 mvps , not 3, get ur facts right.

  • this made me so happy to watch him light up Sprewell like this.. sprewell and his garbage braids has always been my least favorite nba player/thug of all time. good game latrell, what to go 0 for 12 and get a game winner buried in your grill.

oh and way to turn down that 20MM dollar contract because your family needs to eat. how are you eating now? in between boats and houses being repossesed? idiot

  • damn you really hate spree.. if your not pj carlesimo your not allowed to hate him that much

  • ha ha.. yeah, i really couldn't stand the guy as a player. between the braids, that stupid face he would make after a dunk and trying to choke his coach, he was just a thug to me. i still can't believe he turned down that last contract. i wonder what he is doing now..for real.

  • Fucking legend.

  • u can't compare Kobe and Lebron to Jordan ever Kobe takes 50 shots a game and Lebron can't take a jump shot. Jordan rules all

  • He actually averaged around 21 shots a game this season

  • lol my brother posted that apparently he doesn't like kobe and thinks kobe takes too much shots

  • jordan > all..

  • hoops, you still with that new girlfriend you mention in the info for this vid?

  • its emotional watching this, knowing that Jordan was 5x as good before, but its understandable because he is 38 at the time of this game. still amazing that he was this good at 38 years old.

  • great game which needs more attention

  • Sweet. I remember watching this game.

MJ can be bashed for coming back past his prime, but still, you've got to respect the man for being able to do what few could do at that age. Those first two circus shots were just vintage Jordan at age 38. Wow.

  • man i love the lakers but jordan was bad

  • Man I almost wish I was born earlier so I could actually see MJ play. You're one lucky man you know that?

  • Amazing, just amazing! Played excellent defense against Sprewell to the point of frustration, and hit the game-winning shot! All at 38 years of age. How many 38-year-old NBA players can do that??
