How to Setup and Connect XCM XFPS 4.0 Force for PS3

dude i have a hard time with xfps 4.0 and killzone 2.

i could not play it like other fps games on pc.

the problem is the camera. i did try to change the X Y of xfps force 1.6 but until now i have not figured out how to make it smooth.

if u play killzone 2 with xfps. please tell me ur setting for xfps 4.0. and in game setting[ mouse sensitive in game].

Just a note for anybody who's interested in this piece of hardware. If you are a PC gamer and are expecting PC-like movement I am sorry to tell you but that's never going to happen. This device simply emulates the analog stick movement. Console games are programmed to read analog movement and not point-and-shoot movement like in PC games.

You will notice stuttering and difficulty accomplishing 90 degree turns.

Hi, would you be able to show a quick clip of how fast you can do a 360 degree turn while aiming down the sights? As in show just how much you move the mouse please?

I bought the FragNstein for the PS3 recently and want to return it as even when all settings are fully up, i have to move the mouse about 30 cms just to do one turn, which is bad when aiming. It also still moves much like an analogue too.

I have tried every different settings, ingame, on my computer and the XCM software. Also different mouses, but still i have the same problem. If I only uses it to ex. snipe it will work accurate, but when i then have to run etc and have to move the mouse faster, the system dosnt react to it. Its like the "mouse accelerate" problem that was on some pc games back like 5+ years ago...

No. You do not need a laptop. If you have a desktop, you can use that. So as long it is near the Xbox. If your desktop is not near your Xbox, than you need a laptop or move your computer/Xbox closer to each other or get the Rateup. Sniper Plus is for Xbox 360.

I said Xbox 360 a lot because you asked about Sniper Plus & XIM. Both are Xbox 360 only.

If you look at my videos, you'll find out what system the device works on and I also mention them below:

Xbox 360 - XFPS 4.0 Speed, Sniper Plus

PS3 - XFPS 4.0 Force, Rateup

The XFPS 4.0 allows more customizing & requires PC/laptop. Sniper Plus/Rateup allows you to plug keyboard & mouse (plug & play). All work great from my testing.

Since you have PS3, you can either use XFPS 4.0 Force or Rateup.

wow thats very helpfull, one more question since i have a ps3 wich XFPS would you recommend for Call of duty modern warfare 2 ? i want the closest PC experience as posible so is the XFPS rate up as good as the 4.0 thats all i need to know =) and when u say i needa pc/laptop for the 4.0 force u mean i plug the 4.0 force into my computer then what cuz i only hav a PC.

Both will give you PC experience from my review and testing. I probably prefer XFPS 4.0 because you have more control over how you want to set it up. XFPS 4.0 is newer so its more up to date. Yes, you plug the 4.0 Force to your computer and PS3. This is how the two devices communicate. The 4.0 Force is the middle man or the "bridge". Go to xcm. cc for manual (remove space).

Hello i have a xfps 4.0 and with controller it works good but with mice and keybord it sucks.. I try different mice, different computers,differnet updates, but no one works ok. De croshair is not going smooty, it is jumping. What do i wrong.

I experienced no dead zones, lags or delay. XFPS 4.0 Force supports all mice and keyboards. I used a cheap USB Dell mouse and wired mouse and keyboard combo and all worked.

The "XFPS 4.0" can be set up key-maps by a PC/Laptop, but the "XFPS Rateup Adapter" seems can't set up key-maps manually, isn't it?

Both does the same thing. XFPS 4.0 requires a laptop/PC. Rateup does not require laptop/PC. With Rateup, you just plug mouse and keyboard to Rateup and thats it. With XFPS 4.0, you plug mouse and keyboard to laptop or computer and set up configurations via software on your computer. Videos clearly shows the difference in how it is setup.

Barely even see him move the mouse around. You guys need to really move the mouse like someone would playing the game. Or just take it and swirl it around the screen a few good times so everyone can see how fast it really is.

i like the interface of the button binds. I see this geared to pc users and having a desktop or laptop next to the ps3 isnt a problem, but I want to see a real test of the aimming. Do a 180 spin. Lets see the x and y axis at work by aiming far left and swing to far right fast and do the same with up and down. I want to see how much mouse movement and how smooth that crosshair goes.
