She decided to be a songwriter, then she came to sing her songs, she didn't think she would sing them!!! She is my goddess!!! Few women have this power to make us feel wrapped in her magic like this. I was 8 years old first time I heard her voice in a TV commercial..in around 1978...since  then Im her loyal fan.Too bad she changed her style later...I still think her first album is her best one...if you really wanna see other super raritie..try Another Day..her duet with Peter Gabriel...another masterpiece. Thank you so much for posting this..been searching for years. Kate Rules forever !!!

@RobertoGaspar69 Yes, I agree. "The Kick Inside" and "Lionheart" albums were her very best. "Never For Ever" excelled too but it marked the start of a shift away from the style of her first two albums and descended into awfulness with "The Dreaming". These early KB songs will forever hold a very special place in my affections.

Her album "The Dreaming" was groundbreaking in originality, technology and ferociously emotional vocals that I have never heard matched by any other singer! @thesomario It didin't go down very well with fans at the time - probably even alienated some of them . Silver sales staus - 60,000 ! Pretty poor that, especially with the 700,000+ combined sales of "The Kick Inside" , "Loinheart" and "Never For Ever". Sales patterns are always a good indicator of fan satisfaction.

Liked both "The Dreaming " and "Sat In Your Lap" ("Suspended in Gaffa" and "Leave it Open" were ok too) but the rest - OMG - it was a an assault on the senses, not least the ears !
