  • I've always wondered something, why do some police cars have markings and over head lights and some have markings but no overheads? Is there a reason for this?

  • Awesome Crown Vic!

  • its so wierd seeing cops with all blue lights. in newyork i run a blue light as a volunteer firemen

  • @quadkid4 in Louisiana, only law enforcement are allowed to run blues. quite different everywhere

  • It's a.............disco that move children.

  • i love how people bitch about police not getting there fast enough but the second they get brighter lights to reflect in rear view mirrors and they actually use them and drive faster, people bitch that they shouldnt have those helpful lights and that the fast driving is a danger.

  • second car is using same pattern (on rooftop lightbar) as the Louisiana State Police.

  • Where's the red lights? Looks like a POV to me.

  • @DasMidnightDrifter i saw them.....

  • If you don´t see them, you shouldn´t have a driver´s license! ^.^

  • That things sounds so bad ass!!!!! XD

  • rear flasher on the slick top all the way towards the right is out.

  • i love the rower of the engine as the car takes off down the street

  • beautiful

  • you guys have to be kidding me...that siren is as American as apple pie :)

  • Ive never seen the blue lights in the reverse lights. That looks sick

  • 'Officer in trouble, need aditional." GUNN IT!

  • Hear the crown vic roar :)

  • Holy fuck a brittish siren!

  • @lanegane1 No its a american siren.

  • @TheZero4life Thats what we use in the UK everywhere, thats not a typical americian siren

  • @lanegane1 Its a American siren but the UK had started using American based sirens they started this a few years ago yes its used in UK but it was a American siren first =)

  • FAP FAP FAP FAP FAP FAP FAP FAP

  • I love the Crown Vic's engine!

  • Dat engine! ^^

  • I love the roar of that Ford 4.6 Liter Modular V8...

  • @TheZero4life Actually, you can barely spell. Enforce the laws, parents.. What a failure on your part sir. I'm a police officer and you're making us look ridiculous. Shut up.

  • When you look at the back of the slicktop, why is there red on the right and yellow on the left? I'v noticed that with my town Police cars too. They're located on the back lightbar.

  • @Pigeonification That's just the Massachusetts rearward emergency lighting law for police.

  • @maliblu09 Oh ok cool. My town's (In Western Mass) Police cars are almost the same. 2 in the grill. All blue lightbar. 2 Blue on the side mirrors. On the back besides the white flashing tail lights there were red on the left, yellow on the left. I never quite understood why. :)

  • He was "responding" to catch the light -.-

  • fantastic catch!

  • Personally cop cars should not be like this one. They should be a highly visible item in the community and should have a lightbar on top.

  • Oooh, nice christmas tree u have there O.o

  • It'd be fun to be a police officer for a day, just to drive a CVPI with full light package, talk over the radio in code language, put the cuffs on negros, and pull over good looking women... Except for the part where you sit around in your squad car all day farting out that Taco Bell burrito you had for lunch, that may not be so fun.

  • American police cars are cool, they look like disco's

  • @NitroNeus they have to be seen since they tend to barrel into intersections....

  • @Mr88Entertaiment Get a life faggot and stop watching videos of police cars. See? It works both ways. Next time, don't watch a video if you're going to criticize the person for recording exactly what you came to see. And don't say faggot. I don't think it's possible for someone to become homosexual just from recording police cars.

  • @Mr88Entertaiment your such a stupid asshole "Stop chasing cops around" your the one whos the faggot you stupid asshole

  • there ya go... a decent sounding siren.. something that SOUNDS like a episode of COPS being performed live before you... something that sounds like.. a uniformed jerk ready to swagger his "authoritative" weight around like he is the most powerful force on the planet..

  • a GIF for that baby

    makeagif.com/i/bt3f27

  • I love the grille lights on the second crusier

  • AMAZING vid! I love the light package and the Crown Vic with roof bar package sounds SEXY

  • love it!

  • was that luck that both were just there at the same time? lol

  • waste of tax dollars

  • @sociopathicregret shut the fuck up....im sick of this "well i pay taxes, everything public involves me- law enforcement should do what I emotionally believe in" bullshit mentality....

  • @Killerjosh89 i dont emotionally believe in it, im just not brainwashed by patriotic fervor. you emotionally believe in it

  • @sociopathicregret how the hell is it a wast of tax dollars having police cars?

  • @TheZero4life cause every time someone gets pulled over for some BS reason they bring like 5 cars

  • @sociopathicregret So some one going 45 in a 25 mph area should get pulled over? what if a kid runs out in the street well i guess that person going to be going to jail for vehicler mansluter. Also They never send more cop cars then needed to a traffic stop. If there is another car there thats because they called for back up because the person has a warrent or some thing like that, or its a higher rank watching the officers to make sure there doing there job right.

  • @TheZero4life thats bullshit, youre just a dumb cop apologist. cops in suburban areas are pointless. stfu dumb neocon

  • @sociopathicregret Wrong again not a cop "yet" So its a good thing kid get hit by cars? Have you seen what a car dose to a 12 year old kid when its going 45 mph? Poor old little Jimmy going to need a closed Funeral because some one thinks it a wast to have people inforce the laws. I know your probly a another 14 year old kid that hates cops just because they told you not to do some thing. Plus you can barly spell.

  • @TheZero4life lol @ this dumb fuck saying I cant spell and misspelling half of the shit he says. ya rly d00d u cnt barely spull!!11 and look hes crying irrelevant emotional crap too because hes such a 'patriotic police supporter', more like i just dont waste my time on idiots like this because they cant be reasoned with. so much for emotional 'liberals', looks like the cons already have that taken care of. you probably barely graduated high school. grow up then keep talking

  • @sociopathicregret One more thing if you don't waste my time on idiots and you think i'm a Idiot then why did you message me?

  • @TheZero4life youre pretty dumb to think that laws are automatically set correctly though, if you want a serious answer, ive seen roads that are identical in different towns posted at 20 mph and 50 mph and everything in between. often petty politics determines the 'law', not engineering or rationality. the reality is that a neighborhood should be 25 or 30 mph but not a main road. not that it makes a difference since youre just flat out too stupid to understand this. go be a cop it suits you

  • @sociopathicregret i'm in school to become a police officer only 5 more months. But in the state of Wisconsin it is 25 mph no matter what in residential. Cops don't make the laws its the government such as the mayor of the town how it works is. Mayor thinks of it talks to the Fire and Police Commissioner. Then if they both like it it will get pass. Normal Police officers have nothing to do with it. Its just the chief mayor and Fire and Police Commissioner. Some times Higher ranking officers.

  • @TheZero4life cops are partly to blame because theres a difference between reluctantly enforcing a bad law and enthusiastically supporting unfair shit. contrary to the 'mindless drone with no influence or responsibility' crap you are spoon fed in the academy, feedback by police on the law itself is actually taken very seriously. unfortunately, because most of them will support it no matter what, that rarely happens. but you wouldnt understand that either. also i respond because i think its funny

  • @sociopathicregret mez cant spellz sorry mez been deaf for halfsz of me live sryz dick.

  • @TheZero4life then at least dont accuse me of failing at spelling...by the way, every state has a law like that on the books....created 70 years ago. theyre generally guidelines or 'statutory' rules so that towns dont have to post a million 25 mph signs in every neighborhood, not so they can post 25 on a main road. to further reinforce what i said before look at the Michigan state police...look at LEAP....imagine if even 10% of cops used their brains...MSP got plenty of dumb shit repealed

  • @sociopathicregret my other idea is you had a run in with the law and now you hate cops. If you hate cops so much why would you look up videos of them so then you can comment and get attention for once in your life because your parants are up set with you? How about this shut the hell up for once in your god damn life god knows why he put you on this earth but i hope he never makes a mistake like you again.

  • @TheZero4life yeah everyone who disagrees with your valiant patriotic conservative principles is just a whiny liberal who is mad that the cops arrested them for living in their moms basement.. oh by the way god doesnt exist bud

  • Awesome video. Those patrol cars are sharp.

  • we have slick top cop cars and suv's here in n.j. with no lettering on them at all

  • got to be jersey cops. jersey is nothing but a money making racket.

  • @fanbutton i live in jersey, i wanna be a cop, and i agree with you 100% :)

  • its so weird seeing cop cars with blue lights. in new york volunteer firefighters use blue lights

  • Sound EXACTLY like an irish wail siren!

  • i bet the guy who got pulled over was like "OH COME ON!!!!"

  • @EngulfedSix haha..OH COME ON, ALL I DID WAS NOT USE MY TURN SINGNL!!

  • @EMT2272 WOOP WOOP! excuse me officer, are you serious?

  • holy blue lights batman!!!

  • @tomcatt3733 wrong. Lots of stations use slicktops for standard patrol.

  • I know where that is. My nana lives near there.

  • If you can't see the lights during the day though that's why you have sirens.

  • Great vid!

BTW: Is there a reason for Slicktops? I mean, do they have a special purpose?

  • @stiglistanbul They are more for SWAT and Traffic Purposes rather than patrol. They are less noticeable because they don't have the light bar running across their roof. The reason for traffic is because of the Dual light bars on the rear window. I'm just using an example of Dedham Police 634.@stiglistanbul They are more for SWAT and Traffic Purposes rather than patrol. They are less noticeable because they don't have the light bar running across their roof.

  • @stiglistanbul The reason for traffic is because of the Dual light bars on the rear window. I'm just using an example of Dedham Police 634. At night they are the best because the light bars are what distinct the police cars when head lights shine on them, so if the officer wants to issue a traffic stop but needs to wait for the information on the plater, he can go unoticed for a bit longer than you regular patrol car (this is continued from the first post)

  • nice video :)

  • @CandJvlogs

I agree... at times we Americans can go a bit overboard... but some areas have the worst drivers possible... it is all for good cause

  • That's a bit too much I think. It loses the "serious" aspect this vehicles should have...

  • very nice man!

  • @CandJvlogs I would tend to agree. I mean, certainly multiple LEDs offer greater visibility than just one rotating halogen light (as many U.S. police cars just a couple decades ago used) but really, like @code3paris said, there is a point where adding more won't have any benefit. Kind of the same concept of "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink." The extra lights do little to nothing about careless or inattentive drivers, and there's always the mosquito effect.

  • I thinl for the first car its a bit too much, and a money waste!

But the second car has the perfect lightning!

  • GREAT*********

  • Gotta love the Crown Vic V8's Roar :D

  • you seen loose change?

  • excellet vid mate once again! falmouth is in cornwall i think :) south western county in england. how are people taking the news about bin laden?

  • @modelearth Falmouth, Cape Cod! Bin? The Bin story is bogus.

  • @code3paris bogus? and not cape cod lol

  • @modelearth And, just to let you know, it IS Cape Cod, and I should know, because I lived there for 13 years. He uploaded the video, who are you to tell him where it was taken? Come on!

  • @xian1243 I think he was joking. There are no Ford Crown Vics in the UK, as far as I know.

  • @modelearth The recent Bin Laden story, is bogus, yes. But of course, we're all sheeple, and everything the government tells us is pure truth, isn't it. ;)

  • @xian1243 oh yeah i agree loose change for example. NWO etc but still the bin laden thing is true

  • @code3paris

Osama's death is "bogus?" Come again?!

  • @code3paris this is in england as in the UK?

  • @modelearth Dude, Falmouth, MASSACHUSETTS. In the U.S.A. --' I grew up in New England! I actually light the overdoing of lights, especially in blue! Blue has always been the favorite in N.E. ;)

  • @CandJvlogs i think that many of our units are underlit. for example met undercover units and the fact that met units dont even have grill lights. id rather have more lights than not enough.

  • Awesome lights O.O

  • Love the lightning :D

  • @CandJvlogs Yes I think that sometimes too, there must be a saturation point where there are too many lights and the effectiveness is diminished. I have not seen any studies on this but they probably exist.

  • @code3paris There was a study done several years ago (I think by the FHP) that compared the frequency of rear-end collisions involving parked marked, semi-marked (slicktop), unmarked, and undercover police cars, and they all had about the same likeliness of being hit. More recently, the FHP conducted a study about the effectiveness of the color of the lights, and now they use red & blue while moving, red when stopped during the day, and blue when stopped at night.

  • @djo9c1 Thanks for this. I have a study done recently in the states (I don't remember the agency and I'm travelling at the moment and can't find the PDF) and if I remember correctly they talked about different colors being more visible depending on whether it was day or night and depending on the AGE of the person seeing the colors. Red came out on top as did blue I think.
