  • ATTENTION Window 7 users: It might have to do with your "Bonjour Service" being turned off.

    1. Open start menu type in "Services" it should look like a silver log.

    2. Open it, and scroll down to the section of "B" and it should be right there.

    3. Set it to "automatic" [iTunes must be closed to do this].

    4. Hit "apply" and then "ok"

    5. Start up "remote" on your iDevice, and start iTunes.

    6. Thumbs this up :3 so people can see it! :D

  • @MheeRhinosaurus Thank you for helping others, my comment will keep you on top comment.

  • Wow, The 4 digit numbers dont show up on my computer when i click on iPhone device

  • @MyCatIsItchy I believe that means you have already paired the two together before. I can't say off the top of my head, but somewhere in the options on the top it will give you the option of removing previous devices

  • THANX

  • i have a laptop that uses wifi to connnect to my wireless router and my iphone is connected to the same wireless router, i cant find my iphone under devices, but when i use pc which is connected thru ethernet, it works...

can u explain in more detail and settings please

    thankyou

  • @FrostKruncher1 umm i'm not exactly sure why that it happening, maby your laptops security settings is hiding it from the router, so I would research your internet security provider and see how you can change that setting.

  • @EminentTechStudios well, i actualy figured it out, the cause was that Remote connects to the host of the network, not the clients, the other computer which is connected thru ethernet is the host, i created my own network of my laptop and my other pc and remote works on both, but REMOTE appears on both libarys, on a normal internet it only appears on the host not on all the libarys i still dont get it

    =/

    thankyou

  • it is same network dont see any thing this a scam or something pissed me offf why dotn it work i got windows xp so???

  • @LONGCUTDIP200 It will only work on a laptop unless your desktop has a wireless router. If so it may take different steps

  • what device section i dont see nothing?

  • @LONGCUTDIP200 It will show up when your iTunes detects that a device is trying to connect

  • @bman281 If your desktop has a built in wifi or Bluetooth connection then it will work. I'm sure that if you have a wireless router connected to your computer it will work too.

  • this is a cool vid :D i just got this app

  • Hey, great video, just a problem. My iTunes library wont detect the remote application. I verified to make sure they're connected on the same network. Will the application for for the 1st gen? And does updating it to a 3.0 make a difference?

Please get back to me thanks a lot.
