  • Love this ad. the truth hurts all the hate America crowd. Screw them.

  • Great vid. Thanks for all you do. "KEEP UP THE FIRE"

  • Finish the job! Absolutely!

We need to leave Iraq WAY better off than it was when we got there and our troops? The BEST in the world, they can GET THE JOB DONE!

  • I see the commies are attacking the ratings *****FIVE STAR SALUTE*****

  • The ignorant copy cat Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dorhn's, along with Rev. Wright's braindead Obamanuts who hate soliders.

They are the lowest of the low.

  • Why did the U.S. Retreat and Defeat in Afghanistan? What happened to the Bush Doctrine? Why is Pakistan harboring Al Qaeda, Osama Bin Laden, and has Nookular WMD? WTF?

  • Even the Iraqi's wants the American troops to leave their country by proposing a deadline, just like what Obama's been proposing. That's why our country is hated around the world for being war mongers. Troops fighting for the special interest of this administration. Justifying something that's been proven wrong(WMD)just the save the reputation of Bush is absurd. What's makes me even more sicker is when Pres. Bush talks about Faith in God, Love of humanity, etc., and then lead a WAR???

  • We all want America to leave other nations, but it's not necessarily the right thing to do. When they can fight and support for themselves, we will leave. That will be soon. Have patience. It'll be worth it down the road.

  • These all sound like legitimate reasons to LEAVE Iraq.

  • I like people in their 20s who pretend to know about politics when all they do is buy into the liberal guilt bullshit their pot-smoking, free-love whoring, dirty hippy parents feed them instead of forming their own political views.

Cheers to you, vets. When you're doing your job, the media feeds civilians enough bullshit to make most of us hate you. The way these "liberals" spit on vets after Nam made me sick. "Tolerant of everyone", respectful to no one. Go move to Canada, kids.

  • Aww, a fugitive from the deceased /n/, perhaps? Go to some more scientology protests with your 20 year old friends and think about how cool you are. Leave politics to the filthy liberals. Republicans have shown their incompetence and corruption quite clearly over the past 8 years.

  • Can you supply us with the job spec please.. would that include 1. draining iraq of its oil supplies or 2. building a embassy bigger than the vatican to further control the middle east (and its oil) 3. wage war against iran?? the only fact is, it was an illegal war!!

  • Support Our Troops Give Them A Commander In Chief That Has Some Balls . Republican 08

  • Very cool.

  • No matter who is president? Yes, it does matter. You want to finish this job successfully - vote McCain in November.

  • Well, since things are going so peachy in Iraq.. And the Prime Minister is calling for a timeline of withdrawal, I would have to say that our job will be finished sooner rather than later if we begin the pull out. Time to refocus on Afghanistan as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs and Obama are calling for.

  • That's just it. Conditions on the ground are getting to the point where we can do just that but before there was a very hard push in this country to yank the rug from under our troops while they were still in combat and the situation in Iraq was chaotic to put it mildly. Thanks to a change in strategy (though late in coming) we and the Iraqis have stopped the civil war instigated by AQI so we can now withdraw and we'll be leaving a secure Iraq able to govern itself.

  • Well if that is just it... Then why is Bush & Co still resisting a timeline? Those of us who have wanted a timeline set for some time now don't see how that equates to the yanking of rugs, nobody has called for immediate withdrawal of all troops. Obama and others who are not beholden to the Neocon agenda have been trying to get us to re-focus on A-stan for a year or more now, but the administration didn't listen. Now the Taliban is functioning agian & AQ has reconstituted in Afghan/Pakistan.

  • AQ in Iraq did not instigate civil war, look up the differences between the sunni, shia, kurd, and other tribal histories if you want to know why there is the possibility of civil war.

  • Bull shit, Rumsfield said six weeks maybe, six months, seven years later, no end in site. Bull Shit Finish the job my ass, Iran's Next

  • ridiculous. the war is a waste of money, waste of resources, waste of time. i'm sick of my taxes going to support this waste.

  • The Bible says There will be wars and rumors of wars till ends Time . Let Them do there Job .

  • We Will Finish with a Republican Ticket , No Obama O8 Support Our Troops.

  • hurry up! you got till 09 :)

  • what is the job? i'm confused.

  • Wake up people, the war mongers and the war profiteers do not want this war to end.

  • This is a great ad and I hope more like it will follow. Obama has changed his position on Iraq from his primary web page post of "One Signature Can End The War" to "it depends." I know the Code Pink types like repeat "Bush Lied So People Died" like hypnotized zombies but repeating something over and over doesn't make it true.

  • E-Mail from Afghanistan:

Despite the negative nature of national news, the U.S. (not just the military) is doing a lot of good here . . . We are trying to put a broken country back together again and it takes time . . . The US military is more like an armed Peace Corps than anything else. We fight the War on Terror with a gun in one hand and a contract in the other . . . It's definitely a cause worth spending 6 months out of your life on.

  • As a vets I support the the troops. But this is fraking bullshit. The one who won in the this fraking war are the big fucking company.Pick one KBR who was kill how many troops or big fucking oil company who got the frak back in to iraq. When I was in iraq in 06 we where be shot at by all the groups we cannt trust the iraq army.SO I ask why the fuck are we in iraq.

  • how do you support a war that was concieved on a lie. the war will never be won by brute force. diplomacy is the only way. give the iraq's back their country, stop having troops commit themselves to an endless war. john maccain wil lthrust american back into a war with iran. then your theme will change guaranteed.

  • propaganda propaganda propaganda

  • Funny how the most non-partisan ad supporting the War on Terror brings the defeatist trolls out of the woodwork.

    Inspiring Ad.

By the way, welcome to the "right" side Barack Obama, now suddenly in favor of winning the war!

  • Payed for by the Military Industrial Complex.

  • Amen...

  • Vet's for Freedom is a 527.

I don't support lobbyists, but I do support the troops. That's why I say bring them home.

  • Finish the Job? Oh, the USA will establish peace in a region of the world that has not known peace for thousands of years. Yeah Right. Such BS Propaganda. There is no winner in war, just people left standing.

  • There is no winner in war, just people left standing?- Are you a pacifist?

  • Worked for Jesus.

  • First off, Vets For Freedom is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization- Source-NYT July 5th 08. - 2nd) what does "worked for Jesus" suppose to imply & why did you answer for someone else?

  • wtf is the job in iraq? wtf is winning in iraq? wtf does iraq have to do with freedom here?

more vaguely worded propoganda to inspire fake patriotism. our team is gonna win, fuck yeah! you cant win an occupation

  • I'm a vet, I disagree.

  • It's funny how the Ad just states that we need to finish the job and doesn't address as to why we're doing the "job". Critical thinking isn't innate, it's acquired so learn something.

  • Great Ad.... Win the War... Failure is not an Option!

  • I just read your comment...who writes things like that?! My little brother is on this commercial and I just shared your comment with him. I can tell you that I feel sorry for people who live in sad lives like your's where you feel that is an okay comment to write. Regardless of your opinion that is not a normal or healthy thing to write. He is in Iraq right now and wishes people like you could see the positive influence the US has had.

  • POSITIVE INFLUENCE? your head is filled with turds and you are so stupid you don't even know it. Hurray! Halliburton, EXXON Mobil, and our dying democracy. I pity the existence of you and your poor brother.

  • We need to stay and fight for Halliburto- oops i mean Freedom!

  • God bless our American troops - winning, despite all the resistance from the Left.

  • Eighteen months ago John McCain argued that the safest way out of Iraq was to win, then withdraw. Barack Obama said that victory in any meaningful sense was not only unlikely, but that the presence of large numbers of American soldiers actually fed the insurgency and decreased the prospects for stability. On that crucially important decision, at least, it is becoming ever more obvious that McCain was right and Obama was wrong.

  • Our proud US Military... adapting, adjusting and overcoming.

The left miss Saddamm so much and are so anti-victory, they cover their eyes and ears (LALALA i can't hear you)to any news of success.

God Bless the Vets for Freedom!

    Great ad! Thanks for posting!

  • So what happend to the hunt for Osama in this Global War on Terror? What happened to the hunt for the U.S. Military Grade Anthrax Terrorist from Ft. Deitrick? Is there victory in Afghanistan? What about Pakistan? regards

  • Osama is in Pakistan. Wanna invade?

  • So AQ didn't have sanctuary in Afghanistan when it was under the Taliban? We can debae whether we should've gone to Iraq all day but Afghanistan was pretty clear cut. As for the ad itself, it nailed the point home IMO. Right or wrong, we're there and we got a job to finish and leaving before the situation is stable would make conditions far worse. Stability is becoming more and more present and Iraqis themselves are stepping up are securing their own country. Yes we can - win in Iraq.

  • Pakistan has given the go ahead to send in armed drones. An invasion wont be needed.. hopefully.

  • You won't acknowledge those victories when they come either. Like your party, you will stand on the sidelines of history and lob stones while men greater than yourself defend civilization against one of the most barbarous ideologies of mankind.

  • The fact you still hold on to the idea that the cute drawings of donkeys or elephants hold any real meaning is just plain silly.

There ARE different partys in America. However, one is made of up of greedy, corporation-serving, corrupt leaders whos goals are a global government through enslaving entire countries into debt. Oh, and their blind supporters.

The smaller one is made up of American Patriots fighting against all odds to keep their country out of the ruins. Which do you belong to sir?

  • We support policymakers from both sides of the aisle who have stood behind our great generation of American warriors on the battlefield, and who have put long-term national security before short-term partisan political gain.

  • Vets for Freedom is a nonpartisan organization established by combat veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our mission is to educate the American public about the importance of achieving success in these conflicts by applying our first-hand knowledge to issues of American strategy and tactics in Iraq.

  • It has now been ten days since the last reported American KIA (i.e., from hostile action) in Iraq. That is the longest such stretch since May 14-25, 2003.

  • Even Obama is in favor of sending more troops to Afghanistan.

  • I agree we need more troops. Obama agrees. McCain agrees. I guess we all agree. As Iraq calms down, I expect to see more troops moved to Afghanistan. 2009+ we will be talking much more about Afghanistan and less about Iraq. By the way, where is NATO in all this?

  • Yes, if we do better we can slowly move troops out as long as we don't abandon the Iraqis. That is the trick. Right now, we have their back, if we leave too quickly, the enemy will take the cities back. The IA needs us now. But we can slowly withdraw (no timelines yet because we simply don't know what will happen... this has to be dictated by the situation on ghe ground)

  • We have to tell them we are not staying forever and give them firm dates. i am not in favor of making a Welfare State is totally dependent on the United States to get things done. Why are you in favor of a Welfare State? Give them freedom to control their destiny. I used to know somebody who used welfare. He didn't even bother to get a job for like a year. However he got off Welfare because he was forced to, He couldn't suck on the Tit of Government forever, and Iraq can't suck on USA Tits 4ever

  • TheChavezSyndrome - You've got a syndrome alright and it's probably incurable. You think The Republic is dead only because you want The Republic to be dead. Proto-Marxist idiots like yourself will continue to hate the US as long as it remains the world's leading force for democracy, freedom and open markets. And it will be, for many years to come, no thanks to lowlifes like you.

  • You can't spread democracy via the barrel of a gun! The Shi run government will become a theocracy aligned with Iran. The markets are not "free" any more. No bid contracts and corporate run White house! We need to take back this country from fascist like you!

  • the barrel of a gun brought democracy to japan, germany, austria, italy etc....rhetoric is only good if it's true.

  • Awesome video! Keep up the good work.

(oh, and I love the subtle, ironic jab - "that's change we can believe in." It's too bad Barack Obama's "change" doesn't involve victory in Iraq!)
