i notice that in the Demo version Captain Falcon's moves don't link as good as they did in melee, didn't you used to be able to link a nai to uair to uair or knee? or are they still changing the physics of the game still?
@Gimpyfish62 well i've practiced it more and i can get some of the combos down, but they're harder, is it due to landing detection? Also they buffed Ganondorf, but did they change his falling speed or something like that because i noticed it's harder to dthrow chaingrab him with Captain Falcon unless you're in the mid percentages and harder to combo into a uair from a nair
@MrJasonekos if you're playing the "demo" version it's not even close to as good as the current version i'm playing now. i have no idea how things are working there, but all sorts of things were messed up.
Sick Charizard combo video. God this game is so great, keep 'em coming. Any way you could do some sort of commentary on your videos Gimpy? it'd be great to get some insight as to what's new
@Samsasrenjet Y'know, if one day Brawl mods really open the game up, even allowing totally new characters to be added, then there really won't be many reasons to play the new one. Odds are, Sakurai will do something so goofy to SSB4, even with competitive intentions, that the game will be beyond fixing. It'll be like Brawl with, airdashing, Combo Breakers, Baroque Mode, and X-Factor.
He probably won't bother to include the old N64 stages either, or allow DLC balancing.
@FellaDudeMan I don't think Sakurai is into those traditional fighting game mechanics. In an effort to remedy complaints against random tripping, spontaneous combustion will probably be added :P
The last time I played Project M I really didn't enjoy it because it seemed that the wave dashing was pretty unresponsive especially on Link I think. Has that been changed?
@srk1214 ya he said it in the description "Enjoy the videos, in the first few I'll be playing against people who don't have a lot of experience with it yet"
is there light shielding in project M?

@MrJasonekos they literally combo exactly like they do in melee. combos are (as tehy were before) di dependent.

The amount of man hours going into fixing Brawl is downright outstanding. The shame is, by the time Project Melee is released, SSB4 will need fixing.

To me, Charizard just looks like a REALLY overpowered heavyweight. Or maybe that Falcon player just wasn't good.
