I originally heard of Jewel Bako from this tv program. I searched it's name on the internet, it doesn't have it's own website; but it can be found in the restaurant search website. I got some info from Jewel Bako on my cell phone about the seafoods that they have available. Jewel Bako is an excellent sushi bar to go in Manhattan. You should try it, it's great. I wish I wanted to go to Jewel Bako; that way I'll be happy to choose some sushi that they have available.
"So your saying that the scientific research (on a global scale) predicting that the oceans breeding stocks of all main fish for human consumption, will collapse in less than 20 years - is wrong ?"
I don't know what "research" you're talking about, but holy shit you're a moron. The ocean will ALWAYS replenish itself. It has billions of times more life forms than there are humans to consume it. Think about hype before you fucking believe it. Byebye now, and thanks for playing.
cutting a lobster while it is alive is not cool. sorry. call me an idiot all u want but that's foul. i don't eat it normally because it is boiled alive, but this seems even worse!
Did you hear what they said? "It takes an extremely accurate chef to dispatch the lobster..." They kill the lobster, of course. And that's actually how you prepare a lot of of seafood like oysters and crab. By stabbing it.
I love the way that they celebrate the fact that 2000 tonnes of fish are sold at that market - another example of USA & Asia having no idea about the future of our oceans - the show celebrates the fact that the fish are 'rare and exotic' - well done guys - promotion of extiction. So sad the Travel Channel are so clueless about this.
You are an idiot. Do you know how much life is in the ocean? All life forms on land account for only 5% of the total life on Earth. The ocean contains 95% of life on Earth. There are so many fish, it's outrageous.
Humans are living organisms. And just like any other heterotrophic organism, we must eat and consume nutrients from the resources around us. It's not like these fish are being put to waste. These fish are feeding billions of people. Idiot.
So your saying that the scientific research (on a global scale) predicting that the oceans breeding stocks of all main fish for human consumption, will collapse in less than 20 years - is wrong ? I think you need to go away and talk to the people that know - i.e. independent marine biologists - I bet your one of those people in the 60's that were outraged at the thought that smoking could be bad for you ? There is a dramatic difference between consumption and blatant pillage - idiot.
i like sushi, but not too much of it, but the way he's slicing that octopus, i might actually give it a try. it doesnt look too bad to eat, even though this is bizarre foods. thanks for the clip. hope to see more episodes soon.
