I came across Arnel's band prior to Journey, "The Zoo". He sang a rendition of "Honestly" (better then I ever sang it I might add), and then I listened to him singing Journey songs as well.I said"this guy could sing for Journey!" I thought he would be perfect in Journey. A few months later I heard through my connections that Neal had heard Arnel soon after by run in. So, I'll take full credit for discovering Arnel and pitching him to Journey, indirectly:-)
