I remember these Divorce Court commercials and all of them including the one with the cake that falls apart till none of it is left. Nostalgia corner hands down.
this. was. MY SHIT back in the day! i was 9-10 years old and during the summer i'd be GLUED to the TV between 12-1 in the afternoon, my mom would force me to go outside and play cause she was disturbed by my fascination with it - but i wanted to be a lawyer...memories!
The 80s Divorce Court was waaaay better than the repetitive court shows of today. They'd re-create (dramatization) a divorce hearing with cheeseball actors and intimate details. Wish someone would load that stuff!
Yeah, the court shows today just plain suck...what happened to the "dramatic recreation" shows like this, Superior Court, and The Judge?
Although DC's reporter, Jim Peck, might be prone to disagree...he didn't look back on the experience too fondly and was probably wishing instead they'd given the nod for him to take over The Joker's Wild following Jack Barry's death (which went to Bill Cullen, b/c it was felt Peck wasn't a big enough name to keep the show going).

I use to watch this show all the time when I was a kid. The acting was just too awesome! LOL

Yes, I totally need to see the 80s version of Divorce Court... I've been looking for it online, and I don't think any of them are even out on DVD.

@satire75 So do I, but I also think it would be cool to have 50s-60s Divorce Court uploaded as well.
