I have a perfect 02 hatch-ling Fly River Turtle (AKA Pig Nosed Turtle) for sale for $1400 OB "Reasonable" Offer. He has been in my care since 02 before they went to Cites II 'meaning illegal to import/export these and in since captive breeding is near impossible 'these guys are becoming rarer and rarer. I am located in Philadelphia PA 'if anybody is interested. No rush as this is a forced sale due to financial issues. I can be reached at Cappa@aol.com for video and pictures. God Bless, Stephen
Yeah i was more looking at the egg laying and hatching , they seem to have a much more advanced way of laying eggs and hatching ..
I would think it would be VERY hard to recreate natural conditions in captivity unless you have a lot of money and a lot of space , very interesting turtles though and would be a good project to do if you could afford to make it happen
I have a Male, looking for a Female. Mine is 10 inches or maybe 12 tops which puts him around 6 to 8 years old. I am looking for one or three females to start a breeding program in another ten years or more when they finally all sexually mature at 16 to 25 years of age! LOVE YA FRT, LOVE THEM ALL!
captive breeding FRT's ? do people do that , i would have thought it would have been difficult to provide the correct conditions for breeding and everything
