I don't recommend it but I've done this for very short distances in a pinch but I would never get on the highway like that. 1.- it's illegal in most places to have the trunk open on the interstate because of exhaust fumes will get in the car. 2.- it think it's just plain illegal to tow a bike that way on any road.
Scrap the bikes g/box.Without the rear chain being removed the g/box internals are turning without oil being fed.
