  • Disclaimer, no animals were hurt during the filming of this video.

  • I wish I was a vulture. I could eat until I fainted every day with that much ham laying around.

  • That was the best video I've seen in a while. Those feral hogs cause a lot of damage. Just look how fat they were from eating the crops of the farmers. That was some wonderful shooting. thanks for that video and thanks for doing the work that NEEDS to be done...

  • They should use this as a pre-deployment combat training! They could make a killing on a government contract. No pun intended!!

  • looks like i need to make a trip to texas.

  • That looks like so much fun i'm almost surprised it's legal [everything fun here tends to get banned, fkn pc bullshit] i gotta ask tho, the camo gear, what's that about?

  • @hardrider We don't have any cold weather gear except for hunting. It never gets too cold and we have no nearby ski slopes. 17 degrees at 80-90 knots in a helicopter with no doors is pretty damn cold. Not sure why y'all have so much difficulty deciphering the reasoning behind it but there you have it.

  • @SAEelew

Ah yes ok that makes perfect sense, thanks for explaining it.

  • fuckin Nam man

  • Coyotes are going to be eating good!!!

  • 3:19

    I swear that pig farts.

  • @TortugaBreen i heard it too

  • @TortugaBreen hahaha. Oh man that gave me a good laugh after I listened again. That is actually from the wind cutting into the small camcorder's internal mic as I moved the gun into the wind, but I still laughed when I put into the context you guys did not knowing the mic had done it..hahahaha

  • Man this looks like fun action. Talk about combining pleasure and business!

  • MAN yall got some bigass hogs over there..

  • that looks so fun!!!

  • Seems cruel, but I know exactly why it is legal. We are over populated 4+ million alone in Texas. Other states have hogs and they are ranging out to counties that never even seen one. The multiply pretty fast. Some processors will take the hog and process it for hunters. But donation of the meat is a different story with liability.

That chopper pilot is top notch! And the shooter OMG!

  • Getting a lot of questions about retrieval of the hogs...NO we typically do NOT pick them up. We have killed over 5,000 of these destructive vermin over the past 2 and a half years....there is no way and no where to dispatch this many hogs for food. We have had non profits come and we give them hogs in the past, but now most non prof's and NO major processors will take them due to diseases. The hogs destroy 400 million dollars in crops a year. This is a depredation program. Plain and simple.

  • @SAEelew

yoy would think the dogfood people would like them but i guess you have looked and looked . i talked to a german guy and he said the pigs were winning . they were mostly coming out at night and now they were going into the cities where it was really hard to do anything with them .

i hope you get the hunting legal , it would really help with the expenses .

  • @throwerofturds it's legal of Sept. 1, 2011 buddy!

  • @SAEelew Sounds like a good way to get rid of Illegal Immigrants... They due similar damage. ^_^

  • @SAEelew if i were to pay you guys for a hunt would i be able to retrive any of my hogs i shot?

  • OH Man I want to go shoot some hogs ... it would combine all 3 of my favorite things to do ... fly, shoot and dispatch vermin hogs.

  • man that was efffing epic!!!!! how much does it cost to go a round. And by the way you made that look wayyyyy to easy.

  • My face >:D when I heard the pig sqeaul at @1:14

  • Awesome man! Just plain and simple awesome!

  • Best video on here! where do I sign up?

  • Damn fine shooting.

  • I've been hog hunting in a heli but not on this big of a scale, I got about 5-6. I was useing a ar-15 with .308 and a 3x Nikon scope

  • great video,,,man

  • Helicopter pilot = A REAL FUCKIN BADASS flying so close to the ground swooping n turning on them pigs like that! Great work from both of y'all! All smiles I saw haha man I'm jealous for real. Can I has helicopter lol

  • Dat is fukin awesome

  • Most interesting!

Do you do anything with the pigs or are they just "vermin"?

  • Very interesting, I have seen hog hunting by helicopter in New Zealand but didn't know

anyone was doing it in the US, hope this kind of program can be expanded.

  • I assume you must use some sort of brass catcher?

Mine chucks brass about 20 feet away, and I can't imagine the pilot having hot brass raining down in the cockpit.

  • You can hear those suckers squealing at 1:15 ! Keep at it!

  • This is funner than video games ! "Bacon on the house tonight !''

  • UHHH man i love your video you LUCKY SOB

  • Love it wish I was there!

  • Great shooting I think this form of control is by far more effective that any other I.e. Dogs tearing the animal apart I think the people who do that enjoy inflicting pain for the sake of it and the reason there is a problem with pigs is because of people.

  • 1:14 I love how you can actually hear that fat porker squeal over the sound of the heli

  • Absolutely incredible. Does the state law require you collect the carcasses?

  • This is the Angry Birds favorite video.

  • Holy crap at 7:20 you blew his guts out

  • I keep expecting a SAW or 240G to open up for some reason

  • your moving target skills are quite impressive.

  • Like Apocalypse now!

  • Gresat video!! Proof of the stopping power of the little 556. Check the huge hog at 4:27, he looks like he is charging the chopper. He must have been about 400 lbs. Did ya'll circle back and pop the ones still kicking? I suppose they bleed out pretty quick if you shot them after a 200 yard sprint. I'd put a couple of the little ones on the smoker. Keep up the good work!

  • @lingbopper88 I think 5.56 is a perfect round for pigs, but keep in mind that they won't all drop like that if you're shooting at them from the ground. Shooting at them from above gives you a better angle for spinal hits. On foot, you're better off shooting forward of the shoulder.

  • man, i want to try ive always wanted to go hog hunting

  • My life is fucking boring after seeing this...

  • Wow, imagine if the state they were in had a bounty on them. 50-75$ a pig....damn. Cmon Michigan enact a bounty on these thing already.

  • @RetardShittyMan Just collect them and sell the meat. Should get you more then that (I'm assuming..)

  • @yanni318 Can't sell the meat and no major processor will take them due to disease risks. Most non profits reject them now. It's okay though. Our native predators, other hogs, and other vermin eat them within a day or two. Not waste..supporting local wildlife!

  • your a really good shot

  • That looks fun hunting. Were you able to collect all those kill? That's alot of meat! You can eat them right especially the small ones?

  • i think the gov't should pay for military sniper seats on these flights...problem mitigated and excellent training! killing paper gets old!!!

  • now thats "tactical bacon"

  • are you using a lazer sight? i see a white or red dot in some of the vid. thx for your response.

  • @DakotaMatador I used it for about 2 minutes or less of the video...for the rest it is all iron sights. We now utilize EOtechs

  • Great video!

What kind of .223 rounds you guys using (e.g. 55gr, 62gr, etc.)?

We've chartered a helo to hunt over our property after deer season, and this could get expensive using 6.5 Grendel.

  • @rawdeal1977 Golden Bear 62 gr. hollowpoint. Not the fanciest round but we don't waste money on the pigs. It's all about efficiency. If you book one of these shoots, however, you can bring whatever you want! haha

  • i hate the people that say: ITs wrong to shoot such innocent animals!

1.) These hogs are an invasive species, not native to U.S.

2.) Each year these hogs account for millions of dollars in damage to crops and farms.

3.) A fully grown hog could kill a human, and many times kill pets and livestock.

  • @hornedfrog5 some people just don't understand the effects of invasive species. i think states should put bounties on the damned things!

  • @hornedfrog5 And to add on to that they are killing off native species in the bioms they invade. That alone should convince the hippies to stop hounding hunters for killing these hogs. BTW since they are trying to remove hogs did they lift the amunition capasity rule that you see durring normal hunting seasons?

  • Gattling gun!!!

  • love the post shot face plants in the dirt....cannon ball comming!!

  • These hogs all look big and very well fed. I have heard that each hog eats $1200 worth of crops during their lives. 200X1200=$240000 worth of crops saved, if you can kill 200 hogs per ride. And that is well worth the avgas and bullet expense. And getting people to pay for the chance to do this is the icing on the cake. I don't think you are going to run out of hogs anytime soon. Nice work if you can get it.

  • Talk about some Angry Birds!

    Bacon Strips&

    Bacon Strips&

    Bacon Strips&

    Bacon Strips.

  • where can i do this??

  • Man I would fucking pay to do this. You guys could make tons of money from sport hunters, and give back to the farmers while also recuperating your costs (ammo, man power, gas, etc, etc.)

  • Lets EAT!!

  • ahahaha this is what happens when the neighbor is on vacation

  • good vid

  • great...., nice..., what a fun.., wish I could do that

  • Fugin badass!!

  • Now thats the way to get some hogs. None of this one at a time using dogs balooney. AR15 & Death from above AIRBORNE!

  • Is this really the most effective way to kill them, or just the most fun? Seems like y'all miss a lot, and burn a lot of expensive avgas in the process. Wouldn't it be better to bait them into a pen, then slaughter them there?

  • @rprice33 Hogs become wise of traps/pens after seeing their friends captured one time. There is no means of depredation of feral hogs that comes CLOSE to this. We shoot anywhere from 30 to 200 hogs every 2 hours. You can't TOUCH that any other way. Period. I think there may be 10 shots in this entire video that do not hit the target so I don't know what you're talking about there... If this wasn't effective the state wouldn't be passing laws encouraging this method. Research the cost to trap...

  • @SAEelew Cool. Just wondering. I think it was another video I saw where they were only hitting the target about 50%. I've seen how destructive these bastards are....more power to you!

  • i would like to do that with my .458 socom

  • AWESOME VID!!

That was a lot of crop-damage running around out there.

  • are these thing to gamey to eat?

  • @DrunkenNuts the best thing to do is soak the meat in ice/water in a cooler for about three days to get most of the blood out of the meat. with larger older hogs you will have to soak the meat in buttermilk or marinate it then slow cooking it but if prepared properly they are delicious and actually healtier to eat than domestic pork.

  • 3:20

    Did that pig fart?

  • Bucket list no doubt

  • if you guys get paid to do this... YOU HAVE THE BEST JOB EVER!!!

  • 2:21.. cow

  • Great work, guys, keep it up!

  • BADASS

  • Wow...

  • these guys are excellent shots running pigs from a moving helicopter and still getting this many kill shots!! unreal might have to book a trip!

  • Omg sign me up!!!!!

  • That looks like its more fun than humans should be allowed to have :). I have a new entry on my bucket list now.

  • great vid! I used to work at Baily Toliver in Haskell. Was even a lot back then and hearing it exploded. Good to see those hogs go down!

  • damn man, those are some great shots.

  • Hughes 500 series and a Dillon Mini-Gun - excellent combo

  • showed this to my dad. said it reminded him of vietnam.

  • Thats a shit load of pigs.. A lot of bacon

  • looks awesome. whats disappointing is that hunters can ride around in helicopters with assault rifles and it barely makes a dent in feral hog populations because the suckers reproduce so fast. Makes for some good sport though, great video.

  • Nice shooting.

    This looks like fun.

  • Is that AR chambered in 5.56 or .308?

  • @treysmithorama AR-15. Chambered in 5.56/.223 . 62 grain hollowpoints

  • @treysmithorama Wow, I would have thought that even with a load like that a .223 would have a modest effect. Do you go out to confirm kills? Bad deal or not, I'm against wound and leave. I guess I'll try that. An 15 has less pain to my shoulder than a 700 in .308!!!

  • @dmpyron2 We always confirm kills.

  • The dog from "Duck Hunt" showing your kills would've been awesome

  • @gardan06 He couldn't have lifted most of them! haha

  • Dude that is bad ass. Where y'all at??

  • @MrWhateva45 One hour north of Abilene, TX.

  • No animals were harmed in the making of this video.

  • @TyfutyDude No animals were harmed in the making of this video.

    To freaking funny, LMAO............

  • That looks like the most fun one could legally have! I'm saving my money to get in on some of that. BTW almost lost you guys in the heli with your camo on.

  • @atw777 Yeah yeah...make fun of the camo! haha. We were freezing our butts off in the 17 degree weather so we put on our warmest clothes..naturally they were our deer hunting clothes. So much scrutiny! haha

  • I counted 29 at the halfway mark.....I'm coming to Texas!!

  • Quick question. Do you guys go back and check all those hogs are definitely down for the count?

  • @froggybiz We always make sure the animals do not suffer in excess. When not fatally wounded we circle back and finish them off as humanely as possible.

  • @SAEelew Cool. I saw you guys circle back a few times for some of the bigger pigs, but I was just checking.

    :) Happy hunting

  • you guys need a mounted minigun on that chopper

  • Awesome to see real progress on eradicating these pests! keep up the good work!

  • how often do you guys go out like that ?? ... top video btw

  • So awesome. I really really want to do. Someday :)

  • what is ur email

  • @Jag2798 xtremehuntingadventures@gmail.com

  • @SAEelew how much does it cost for 1 hunt

  • SWEET! Nice shooting Gentlemen! I see the red dot in some of the shots, what kind is that? Keep up the good work!

  • Cool!! Do some more videos!!

  • Awesome work guys, keep it up.

watch "Man vs Dingo" at - youtube.com/watch?v=MHrqJ9jlXUQ for a genuine head shot on a wild dingo, on the spur of the moment, from nearly 100 feet.

  • fuck yeah, kill those filthy campers... grazers. Rack up those killstreaks, we're nuking this bitch. Bing! HEADSHOT

  • squeal little piggy MUHAHAHAHAHA. I'm waiting for it to rain again in east texas so i can hunt em with ease.

  • 2:19 cow pig? Lol

  • ID LOVE TO GET UP EVERYDAY GO OUT IN MY OWN FEILD AND HUNT THESE BASTARDS FOR BACON. YET I'M CANADIAN SHOWN BY THE BACON STATEMENT.

  • The guy shooting has to be military! Great shooting!

  • @mowwow87 No sir...no military background whatsoever. I just like to shoot and have been shooting and hunting my whole life! These are my first two flights shooting from the chopper!.Thanks for the compliment!

  • this is the most badass thing ive ever seen. you guys are awesome.

  • how much does it cost for a seat?

  • im soooo doing this on my next vacation!!!!

  • Yeah pork eating crusaders!!!! You using a 308 or 223 on that AR? Man only if I can do that in commifornia! !

  • I love it!! Pork eating crusaders! ! Is that AR 15 a 308 or 223? Great job now only if I can do that in California.

  • @GreyDeathOne You can't do it in CA but you can come to Texas and buy a seat! AR-15's don't come in .308..the .308 caliber is on the AR-10 platform. This is .223 but we've used 6.8 SPC, .458 SOCOM, and others to test them. .223 is simply the cheapest ammo and these hogs aren't worth wasting money on...they do that enough on their own!

  • @SAEelew how do shotguns do? a semi auto no plugged 20 gauge would do good right? probably more expensive then .223

  • you should be ashamed of yourselves,,,,,, shooting these animals in the head and killing them........

why not not whack them in the hind quarters so they limp around for a few days??

they can only run half as fast on 2 legs,,,,that way,,, women, children and the visually impaired get some easy shots..

and you can double your money by shootin the same hog twice..

  • now that's piling up some bacon!

  • angry birds lol

  • That is awsome

  • Fucking you got some big pigs.

  • I consider myself a liberal minded person and I have no problem with this video. In fact i think i'd enjoy something like this. Don't bash every liberal out there! Maybe just the ones who can't think outside their own little box.

What are they being show with, by the way? Like what kind of weapon?

  • @hotchrislee

they said at the end of the video, an ar-15 and an ak-47.

  • i sure would lovve to get out there one of these days im from mcallen area in south texas and i cant seam to find me any hogs down here..... it would be like a dream come true

  • "How can you kill innocent sows and piglets like that?!?!"

"Easy....you just don't lead them so much!"

Awesome video guys, keep culling that heard, and removing those damn nuisance animals from my beloved state of Texas.

  • "easy....you just dont lead 'em so much!!"

  • "How can you shoot sows and piglets"

  • @Majiksmoke ------with guns!

  • @stanktail Fight or flight instinct bypasses logic every time. Makes it a more interesting video though :D

Dropping wild hogs like bad habits
