When I got this game, I thought it was cool, but for some reason, I felt skeptical. I then began to hate it after hearing what others had to say. It was an orphan in my drawer for a long time, and I later lent it to a friend a long time ago. @solidkevinx Noir films kind of have their own sub-genre that's heavily influenced by jazz (jazz songs in nightclub scenes are popular in noir films as well), with distinctive, oftentimes melancholy themes. Do a google search for "film noir music" and some great examples will come up.

@solidkevinx Generally, you can find similar examples of this type of music throughout the 1940s and into the 1950's... It isn't a coincidence that the game is also set in this time period. It's called Blues. It's also not a coincidence that the club which features in the game is called the Blue Room. Check out Blues Legends 1940-1949 on Amazon MP3. It's decent value - 100 tracks for 7 quid.
