@JuanVoyce The unscripted lines sometimes seem forced.  The storytelling may be weak but in this show, in my opinion, I don't think the story is important. And I don't think the characters are really supposed to be interesting. They're just rich people arguing about a lot of unimportant bullshit. It's sometimes hilarious, but mostly just funny..in my opinion.

@3234718 Are you kidding? Curb is the most formulaic sitcom on TV-- lovable loser hatching zany schemes that don’t work out, in the tradition of The Honeymooners. Although Kramden's get-rich-quick schemes to escape the boredom/hopelessness of his "crammed-in" quarters is more universal than boredom-induced, quixotic challenges to social convention/expectation, it is the cynical humor of prejudice/belittlement of the oppressed by the super rich that is distasteful, disgusting, and revolting.
