Ate 4-5 times more computer resources than xp and tended to slow down, was stupid and uncontollable, that pretty shitty for me and for a lots of folk out htere. Even Microsoft admitted Vista was a mistake and that's why they made Windows 7 much faster and offered free updates from Vista to 7. This is not my opinion, it's a fact...

@kungharry Yes, Vista was sold for months before W7 release with free update code or whatever, but they offered the upgrade for free, that's how much Vista sucks and Microsoft is aware of that.

I prefer Mac OS X because it runs great on any Mac out there. Windows can also be a good OS if put on the right system but by the time you put it on a good enough system you could have bought a Mac that could run both OS' for the same price or cheaper.

I could buy an Asus laptop with equivalent specs to a macbook/MBP and it will cost a sizable amount less, to the tune of 30-40%. Windows 7 fairly well on a 200$ N270 based netbook, thats a pentium 3 essentialy. If an atom can run 7, any computer sold today is also capable of delivering at least acceptable performance.

@RuckaInc I hate to revive this discussion, but let me tell you this : mac does everything a pc does, but in a more beautiful and easier. No bullshit, just what the user needs. This isn't always the case, but in most cases it's a fact. There are only 2 problems : price + habit of apple to delete certain features (like flash) to force users to update their hardware/software. that second problem may be commercial but I just think it's being smart.
