how do you make short jumps? :O I've seen many HnK videos of pros doing short jumps to set up their combos, but can't really figure it out myself how to do it. :/
@ZeroDavids7 it's called a quick air dash. you jump forward, release the stick to neutral and press forward as quickly as possible. it will count as your jump and your air dash.
@ikeban This is the reason the game is so tough to learn. some moves are only cancelable by a single frame and rei's big combos rely on pure execution. You basically need god like reflexes to do his constant flight combo in the corner. j.236HK x5 BOOST j.236HK x3 BOOST j.236HK x2 cancel into j.LP, land, LP, HK, 236HP+HK

Both MvC2 and Hokuto No Ken demand this of the player. You either man up and deal with it, or you go back to your whimpy mashers.

So what? People play broken ass games like Mortal Kombat and MvC2 all the time and enjoy it. Besides, these are exhibition combos, its not like you can just start one of these combos at any time in a real fight. Just stfu and enjoy it
Any fighting game with easily pulled off infinates and major balance issues are broken. Not saying it's not fun... but if someone pulls off something like ZOMFG jab jab short fierce with let's say Ironman (sorry if i get the combo wrong), it does get kind of dumb.

I tried this combo, where Rei do his "Shineee, shineee, shineee" Attack against the wall, do you know what I mean?
But it doesn´t work!
He do his Attack one time, than he fall bck to the ground! Is there a trick?
