This is one of my favorite songs..and I live in "TEXAS"....I also love Chris Rea...This song gives me goosebumbs...great joy Chris...Texas Loves You...
@jamesweisz SHE SAID WHAT !!! Yes I agree, he should have had a hell of alot more exposure than he has. Dont know why Clapton or some of those guys dont get off the pot and get him on tour with them.....what a great voice and guitar player. Mellow and rough all at the same time.
I'm not from Texas but I got here as fast as I could. Love it! I even posted this song on my FB page. We bought the cd for this one song. Gives me chill bumps!
Chris rea is such a talent. I can't understand why he's not as well known. His music , his raspy voice is memorable. I still prefer him to a lot of current artists . Where is he nowadays?
Oh man I wish he would come to Texas, I would be on the front row. I never understood why he never caught on here in the states. I am about 35 miles from Houston, but I would drive clear across this big old state just to be there. Chris is amazing.
i was born and raised in Texas till i was 18 and joined the Navy i haven't been home in over 2 yrs to see my family and i'm so ready to get back home to the good ole LONE STAR state.
Texas heat, A/C, freeways, malls and swimming pools. English countryside and London town - walking about, nightlife, riding the tube, fish and chips, mild weather , green all around. I'll take both.
Where can I download this song? ITubes doesnt have it. Damn this man is smokin hot. ;-) Cant get enough of this vid or ANY of his music. Love you Chris! Stay well and healthy so we can have you around for a long long time.
Good song Chris-- Texas is big- long ,long roads ---it takes a day and in some directions even longer just to cross it by car . I've lived in Dallas and Houston as well as Tulsa, Oklahoma and I can tell you the people and the land are better in Texas (also no state income tax!!!! in Texas , but Oklahoma does plus they tax your groceries). It does get hot down there but Corpus Christi to Houston and Galveston is a great area to visit especially in Spring God bless Texas & Chtis
TEXAN TO TEXANS ...THIS DUDE NAILS IT. TOTALLY. AUSTINITES UNITE BEHIND CHRIS REA ... HE'S TALKING 'BOUT US, THE HILL COUNTRY!!!!!!

As a 5th generation Texan living away from home ... this makes me cry. I love this song. SOOOOOooo much. Two more yearrs ... then I am going HOME! AUSTIN here I come! Hellooooo Lake LBJ!! GALVESSSSTON!!!!! SOUTH PADRE!!! White wing hunting, bass fishing, water skiing, dirt biking, 4 wheeling, hang-gliding, flying!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!
