not pointless to backup to sd card because you can transfer backup to a pc and you can restore after a firmware upgrade.

It gives the impression that if your phone gets trashed, or lost then you can backup all your apps.
I'd like to know how this happens as, your apps are only backed up to the sd card, which is likely to be in the phone when it gets lost, or stolen !!!
So although you can upload your data to the server, i'm not impressed with the apps feature...
Any advice welcomed
