Wow, at least we got a president that can joke around and play basketball! Who cares about my grandmother not being able to buy her medicine? I mean really, he is so FUNNY! Let's vote for him.
obviously u have no idea what Barack's healthcare plans are. You would have done better saying he's making it harder for Doctors, not patients, idiot
@IamLiterallyRetarded Your username fits your characteristics in real life. My grandma is disabled and can no longer work BECAUSE of her job, you insensitive asshole. The elderly have paid their dues, and should be able to retire in peace. My grandma can't do that, though, because she has medical issues, so she should be able to at least retire with as much peace as she can get.
@DYvideos Ha, you caught me. You couldn't tell by my name? BTW, out of the 2 political parties we have to choose from, the Democrats are more likely to help your grandmother.
Dude. The guy's bailing out private banks with your tax dollars. You dont get a cent, the Banks do. Obama is rewarding the Banks for their utter failure on our back. How is anyone in these "Millions of new jobs" gonna get paid? bird seed?
How can a fiat economy be worth anything anyway?
If you cant change your mind, then you haven't a mind to change.
we do get it back if the banks do well. seeing as how the American taxpayers are stockholders, we can actually make a profit. Not likely obviously, but the point wasn't to buy stocks with America's money, it was to protect us from a giant domino effect melt down, not seen since the Great Depression.
Even Bush realized the seriousness of the threat of letting the biggest businesses in the world go under.
the new jobs will be paid by the government. some of which will go back through taxes.
Obama is partially trustworthy to me, he does have great ideas for the country, but i dont agree with a few personal views. I was glad the Gay/Lesbian Community was onboard for him during the election, more power to 'em. So I guess it depends on the issues and how to solve them that makes a good president. Obama don't let me down anymore.
Dude he was running for President, not Comedian of the year. When a comedian goes on tour, they repeat the same jokes every night anyway. Maybe with a few alterations depending on location, hecklers etc. Obama's a dude, atleast he's a President American can laugh WITH rather than AT like some more recent Presidents.
Although I AM SOOOO HAPPY that OBAMA won I still think it's disrespectful that people are making fun of MCCAIN about him not being able to lift his arm's.That happened to him when he fought for are country and they broke his arm's now he can't lift them so please people although we didn't want him as president lets be a little mature and SHOW some RESPECT!!!
Curve2die4: I agree with you 100%. Obam won, so his supporters should be more gracious in victory. Bless McCain's heart, he gave a gracious concession speech, so he has class.
i am...have america laughing and guess what...LAUGHING IS A HEALTHY THING 2 DO lol no but for real you cant be all uptight about politics and have a pole up your ass, be cool.
he is not against our flag and he has responded about his priest(never denied him having that priest) saying that while he listens to him he does not agree with his politics. Anyone who has ever gone to church has heard their priest say something they did not necessarily agree with. Obama is a great man, and soon...a great President.

I think it would be good to have a black dude as president. I don't know if this guy is worthy of being the first black president though. He doesn't seem to have much experience, and if he fails or somthing goes wrong, the next black dude to run for president may have a really rough time. Or may not even have a chance at all. I don't want this guy as the first black president.

Obama sucks, he is all talk and no action. Typical politician. Tells you some wonderful things in your ear but has no accomplishments to speak of. Vote for him and you will get exactly what you hear. A lot of hot air and fancy speaking. We need action not actors, NEXT Candidate Please!
Thats true, we should have more experienced presidents in the US like Bush & Nixon-surely they can fix the mess we are in.God forbid we have a pres whose hopeful & brings diverse people 2gether, we need more separation in the US - we need more adulteres like bubba, or war mongers like Mccain and liars (I mean misspeakers)like Hilderbeast, after all, sleeping beside the president is "8 years of white house experiece". We nee that huh? Barack sucks? gee what eloquence. Maybe U should be president
Hes not in office yet, who are you to say that hes gonna do a bad job? for all you know either he could suck so bad that he gets impeached, or maybe he will do so good that he will have a 100% approval rating, you can't automatically assume hes gonna do bad, who do you want to win? Hilary Clinton? who obviously has said she would use nukes in war, John McCain, who wants to keep the war in iraq. Obama had a high approval rating as governer of Illinois.... do your homework before you assume shit.
Obama is intelligent, though. He is pretty rational, too, from what I've seen.
I have no idea where that train of thought was going at the time I wrote that. It was 3:30 in the morning, you see... and I'm not really for any candidate in particular because I can never seem to agree on 100% of the issues at hand.
Moreover, I'm still learning and forming an opinion on these candidates. I guess the Bush Administration has made me much more wary.
Yeah, it's funny how ineffective these celebrity/puppet government officials can be at actually being true presidents. Notice how our current president has reduced his speeches to stand up comedy and useless rhetoric? How is Obama any different? This is nothing like the caliber of our presidents 100+ years ago.
It is Miri Ben-Ari, probably should have put that in the credits, lol. Yeah sorry about deleting some of your comments; but I don't think its good for the debate to go negative. Feel free to discuss or whatever, but keep it positive.
I concur eith gjk0005. OBAMA 'O8! This man should be paralleled to the likes of JFK and MLK. But of course, the racism and ignorance of our nation (and coincidentally, FOXNEWS), prevents us from ever elevating a black man to a status he rightfully deserves. Screw those out there who don't support OBAMA. OBAMA is doing it without all you haters! YES WE CAN! '08
He has the best personality, character I have ever seen in a politics figure in the world never has happened in history, history is full of stupid wars for nothing. This guy is a leader for the free world, god I want him in office so bad makes me anxious to see what he can enlighten in our children's future
Humour is important. It's a well-known fact that dictators have no sense of humour. And many more politicians with secret dictator-like tendencies are sorely lacking in this quality too. Obama has humour, which means he has the ability to see things from a different angle, to call things into question, including himself and his own ideas if necessary.
Is it such a well-known fact? What about Bush and Hitler? Hitler laughed and smiled. Bush also jokes about himself all the time. He knows he's funny, too. Just a few months ago, I was watching one of his speeches, and he was reading jokes from a stack of papers. Just digest that for a while.
Well, I don't t all see GWB as a dictator or even as having such tendencies. But rather as a bumbling fool attached to powerful economic interests and having a brutally simplistic worldview. On Hitler I'll have to do more research, but I'd be surprised if his sense of humour extended to himself or his "volk". Of course, I'm quite sure he enjoyed and practised anti-semitic "humour".
Bush can't be a dictator in this country, for sure, but he's as close as humanly possible to being one, and the people behind the scenes are trying to chip away at the barriers that protect this country from such a disaster. What, with the Patriot Act, the North American Union ordeal, RFID, etc. introduced and mobilized since Bush took office, plus this ridiculous war, he's like a second (or third?) Hitler.
But I think Bush is more of a puppet, unlike Hitler. Follow the money, they say.
Yes, Bush is some kind of ridiculous puppet. They can sometimes do as much harm as a dictator - elsewhere - but he doesn't have the mindset of a Mussolini or a Saddam.
Still, the "puppet masters" certainly have created a lot of damage with their apathy and greed. And so we know that people don't have to have the mindset of a dictator to cause damage. They can simply have friendly connections with toxic people who have collateral.
I'm sure humor can help people with judgment of character in most cases, but I'm not entirely certain that humor alone counts as a way to determine whether a person is a good candidate. History repeats itself, remember.
Good job for all who voted for this bastard... you got your 'Hoax and Chains' alright.
