It is really weird. When I heard this song I realized that I am jealous of one of my best friends that can sing and my friends love her singing. I can sing really good like my friend but I am to shy to sing in front of them because I think she will show me up. (even thought she does not know it) I wish that soon one of my friends will help me out. GOD DAMN............... WHY IS LIFE SO HARD?

@amberchan16 I had the exact same problem. It is REALLY hard sometimes, but don't ever give up. Do whatever it takes to show people your talents. I'm soooo shy and I get nervous easily all the time, too. But, if you keep practicing letting loose in front of people, it won't be long before you can shine like the beautiful diamond you really are. Trust me, just build your confidence! (^x^)

various feelings from my point of view is that meiko when she was younger she was shy and so jealous that she couldnt do what miku did and then efel chan taught meiko how to express yourself not to be shy if u wanna sing just sing and i was like that once i was so shy to everyone i met until a really nice guy came up his name was robert navarro and one day i saw him singing in choir and then i wanted to sing too and then one day i went in front of the anime con audience and sang my heart out

I think the thing I love is not just how Meiko is showing how good she really is in this song despite being overshadowed, but also how she addresses Lola (the first Vocaloid ever made, and overshadowed by most who came after her) at the beginning of the song. Meiko has been overshadowed so she knows how Lola feels, and she'll use what fame she does have to try to help get Lola's feelings out there too. So she's singing not just for herself, but for one who came even before her.

@AkaikoVocaloid Yeah, it's the same with all Vocaloids (but with more truth with Meiko, Kaito, and Len, Len because he has a pronounciation problem) It all depends on who uses it. Some songs are really choppy and rough (like with beginner UTAU users) but some sound SO lifelike, like with Ryo or DECO*27. They're my favorites, but Yowane-P comes close too :)

Nope, you're pretty much right. The younger Meiko, is the sxteen version of MEIKO(Original, in other words, Meiko 10 years ago. Meiko with 16 is known as Meiko Sakine, or Meiko 16
