So Chinese can have high tarrifs on our products but when USA wants to have a "buy american" clause other countries threaten to file complaints!! American's need to start standing up for themselves and refuse to be a victim of global double standards

These news broadcasters sound like they want to get rid of the insurance and pensions for police firemen military postoffice workers ect... after they put 30 years of work in shame on them. I bet there would be line a mile long to take there jobs at 10% of there pay. Saving all of us money on the products we buy that advertisers pay this media outlet.
It is indeed common sense to "Buy American", The whole American economy is dependent on the manufacturing base and if it continues to decline, so will the United States, China just passed a 700 Billion dollar stimulus plan and it requires that all the all the money be spent in China, but no one is calling China a protectionist state, this whole protectionist theory is being argued by the same corporate big wigs that sent our jobs overseas and only care about filling their pockets with cash
China is very protectionist. They maniplate the Yaun. They refuse to pass min wage laws so chinese workers can CONSUME. They heavily subsidize their companies. They refuse to give worker rights.
They need to cut the trade deficit crap &CONSUME ALSO! China needs to HELP repair the world to, not just go back 2exporting again.
Come to think of it, Japan too needs 2get into a consume state of mind, not just export. China has taken your place as an exporter because of your own protectionism
