Get a grip on reality , Senator Dick Durbin. We need jobs, by the way , not all hotel workers are illegal immigrants and restaurant workers.
I think Senator Durbin is neglecting over 20 % unemployment in US. Even top college graduates can't find a job. If illegal aliens cleaning ans washing dishes go back to their country, us citizens and legal aliens will be able to work . If we should not be deporting illegal aliens because deportation will break up family, then US citizens committing crimes should not be going jail when they break law as long as they have a family.

Many Americans don't know how it even works. We have to fix the system, but that don't mean that we should give an amnesty.
I am all for a path to Citizenship, but not amnesty. We have been here before and Amnesty was granted and Washington did not live up to their end of enforcing immigration laws! I have many friends that are legal immigrants. They are appalled that they went the path of Citizenship and you just want to say ooopsie my bad come on in AGAIN!!!

@ErikRevolution the system is not broken. its the elected elite in DC who do not have the balls to enforce existing laws. the GOP will never go for it, nor will 10 percent of americans are unemployed, we are going to worry about those who are illegally here??? hell its time to look after americans out of work, only able to find part time jobs, or have given up looking all together
