I wish the Braun salesperson who came to me had been a chair user. He just didn't get it. He told me it would be $500/mo. including the leather seats and CD changer? Really?
Disabled consumers need disabled salespeople. You need the understanding to get the person in the right vehicle and under the right conditions. Nice product but at the time, I couldn't make it work.
@silvertip185 That's too bad to hear. Unfortunately, you are right, some dealers just don't get it. This is not the regular automotive industry where it's all about selling features on a vehicle. Good dealers know that every single customer is different and you have to really understand their story, lifestyle, and personal needs to get them into equipment that will work for THEM.
@car2nistrob - I'm afraid you are misinformed on the prices of these vehicles. In our current inventory, we have vehicles ranging from $8,000 to $53,000, with everything in between. It really depends on the same things that any vehicle price depend on, the make, model, year, mileage, and type of conversion and conversion accessories you get.
that's nice, too bad they cost $65,000 or more and most people who have disabilities live on welfare or social assistance. The whole auto industry is bullshit in both Canada and the United States
I just watched your video. Great story about overcoming obstacles and gaining independence. I've been a quadriplegic for 19years and I also have a Honda Pilot(A BLAST) along with a wheelchair motorcycle.
