Adrian once said in an interview that he didn't really want to promote this video because it would indicate false advertisement of a crescent that LARGE under the hood. He said that there is no bolt that large under the hood of any car. I think this is his best video regardless.
I sure hate it when spectators get competitive about who is the "best." Right here and right now in this video he's the best and it's so entertaining. Isn't that good enough?
This was a "commercial tune" that he did , I guess to get some public exposure and it was a very succesful effort especially on some of the early 90's video channels #1 for quite a few weeks as I remember. This tune persuaded me to buy the CD. The other songs on that CD are unbelievable. This guy can absolutely do some amazing things on guitar . Very unusual style. Don't know if he's the best, but he is right there with the best, I would certainly pay to hear him if he come anywhere around.
ive met adrian a couple of times and must say he is the nicest human being you will ever wish to meet, not to mention the greatest guitar hands.i feel bad when i don't purchase any of his music at his shows because i already own most of his catalog through other purchases on line and at cd stores.
I have been a fan of Adrian's since my brother gave me a cd he didnt like,Guitar For Mortals. I loved the title, and on a whim gave it a try. It changed my life! I have never been able to look at guitars the same way again. This is the first time I have seen this video, LOVE IT! I cant wait till Adrian makes it back to the Seattle area, ive never gotten to see him live. I sure hope I do someday before he calls it quits. THANKS ADRIAN!!!! Its the tunes as much as the technique I love so much!
My cable co. had a weird video channel where I first saw this vid about 12 years ago. Since then I've become a big fan of Adrian and have seen him numerous times. It is always a treat to see him perform because I know I'm looking at a true master musician.
If I remember correctly, the name of this channel, it was "More Music" or something similar. This is is where I saw Adrian for the first time, as well as the jazz guitarist Norman Brown.
I had that channel too. Seemed like everytime I'd turn to it an Enya video would be on. Anyway, that's where I first discovered Adrian Legg also. I then went out and bought the "Mrs. Crowe's Blue Waltz" CD.
Less than 1 month ago I was in the frontline to enjoy Adrian Legg playing at the Blue Note in Milan. Gotta learn a lot from this guy!
Anyway, first Adrian "official" video I've ever seen, it's funny to see him driving a van :)
About the melody, my heart is stuck on Guitar For Mortal's, so can't say this is a great Legg hit to me, but anyway easily listenable, I appreciate it.

I love Adrian Legg's music, but this video is a travesty. Quite possibly the worst music video I've ever seen. Sorry.
