Annie lennox was one of my uncles favourite vocalists...he died on 12th December 2010...my birthday. He was my best friend for many years. I'm 23 now and i don't know if i'll ever have a better friend. Here's to you Derrick, hope so see you soon - Elliot :).

In some respects, when she and the Eurythmics were in the mix, Annie was beyond what I could actually process and understand. One of the all time bests. She can be at least mentioned in the same paragraph as Aretha, acknowledging both their greatness, and that they come from different places. Tranny much? I just noticed how women considered pretty in the 80s and 90s are a bit horse face. Thanks to change,evolution, and plastic surgery we are much better looking now. This song makes me sooo sad. It reminds me of the one I did everything I could...for the one I loved and still lost her to some fly-by-night guy. I was soo willing to do anything I could for her and I did. But still she left me as like I didn;t mean anything to her. I hate and love this song because it reminds me of her and everything I did to keep a love affair going. However...I lost it as if it never happened.
