Deer have no feeling in their antlers (no nerve ending or blood) after the "velvet" has come off. They would cause more damage to each other than removing the antlers. They would shed (they fall off) the antlers in Jan/Feb anyway (after the rut). Bucks fight, sometimes to the death during the rut (mating season). They will probably still fight but will be less likely to hurt each other now.

sunnygill1995 3 years ago
What???why would you cut off his antlers?
Greenerstill08 2 years ago
so he dosen't injure the other bucks with his antlers when they are in rut. We cut all the buck's antlers for their own safety.

Is it a farm? Chopping off the antlers seems a bit drastic.
