@MisterNyaah then why dont they just overlock them theirselves then in that case cause it causes the parts to heat up too much which melts the parts and ruins the lifespan of the part
over clocked and water cooled? you might not want to leave it on while your at work or gone because if it springs a leak or stops your going to have a house fire,
Hello guys, I just made a video of me overclocking my I-7(920) using 2 floor model freezers. I've never seen anybody try this before using affordable cheap freezers so tried. the of the video is called "Overclocking I-7(920) using two Freezers!"
2 separate loops in one system... badass. I would've gone with one big one cause u dont hev 2 buy 2 pumps, 2 resoviors, extra tubing ect and also the tubing and cables aso look a bit cramped. Good radiators and stuff tho, but I would've gone with 4GB ram, minimum
Very nice system but that CPU will bottleneck your 4870 X2's alot! Sell your Q6600 and get a Q9650
They are cheaper than ever and you will notice a massive performace increase, like crysis will be 15 frames faster! My friend did the same but he has a single 4870 X2 yet he got a 10 fps increase :)
8 cores? were have you read that or who told you that, omg inform your self first than make a comment, that does not exist, the core i9 wil have 6 cores and is not out yet
What is your 3dMark06 score, and 3dMark Vantage P score? I have very similar setup like yours including radeon 4870x2 except everything is still cooled by air :-( With my q6700 OC @ 3.6GHz and radeon 4870x2 @ default I get a little bit over 20k points in 3dMark06.
You need to program the fan using the software and USB cable with the fan switched off. Once it's programed with your message you can disconnect the USB cable and hook it upto a molex.
I have two reseviors and two pumps and i was just curious to how you have your system set up and if it is worth having to separate cycles. i was wondering if you could include a detailed video of you liquid cooling system.
shouldn't the cpu and gpu have their own loop/

I DONT SEE THE POINT IN OVERCLOCKING YOUR JUST WRECKING YOUR PARTS IS IT WORTH IT ??? sry caps

@alexisentonfire Your not wrecking anything? Companies even add software to components to make overlocking easier for you....

EDIT: sorry I just realised you only have 1 X2.
Well you would still get a 10 fps increase in crysis if u got a better CPU.
revorocks123 3 years ago
His Q6600 is clocked so hard it beats a default Q9650 so Im sure it's not a bottleneck.
Better to save money for a i7 or possibly wait for the 8 cores coming this year and push them to the limit.

pilsener13 2 years ago
Intel said that before they announced i5 months ago.
And they are going to release a workstation with dubble 8 core CPUs AND AMD is going to release a 12 core next year.
So OMG inform yourself first before you even try telling someone to inform themselfs.
Some advice, listen to Intel and AMDs pressreleases and you will keep up with whats happening.

dude are you serious??? why could he want to change his cpu?
he got a Q6600 (8mb l2 cache) OC'ed to 3.6 Ghz...LOL

2 systems in one PC? Why not just a bigger radiator?
MugenRac1ng 3 years ago
because if its split up then you have one cooling just that one so it isolated and can do a better job

Loop 1 > Resevoir > Pump > Radiator > CPU > GPU
Loop 2> Resevoir > Pump > Radiator > Fusion Block > Ram
pwoolrich 3 years ago
@pwoolrich does that mean you have 2 seperate radiators?
MrSawdragonlord 1 year ago
The CPU idles around 37 celcius and the GPU's around 35 celcius down from 85 celcius which the stock cooler ran at.
pwoolrich 3 years ago
What the fuck are you going to do with 2 TB?
thats alot of porn.
