It seems like it's about the infiltration then when it's building up he's going for the kill. And moving on to his next target. Though I guess it makes sense for Kasuga too.

One thing me and Kenshin have in common is we both a liking for "beautiful blades." (:D

This track does seem like it's trying to alternate between the two characters. Though the transition seems to represent them both. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Exactly right, this theme doe's represent the both of them. Except this theme has a more subtle feel to it, Kenshin's theme (if you haven't heard it) has a tense & powerful vibe to it. Like the beginning of a war. listen to the first 11 secs of his theme.

Now in the case of this theme, the valor of Kenshin kicks in from the start then switches at 00:27 to pure beauty.
