It was really good, the story was easy to follow, but Caleb's death could have been more convincing. I mean, seriously. He was stabbed like fifteen times, and no blood? That was my only criticism really.

=O this is shot in redcliffe! haha, good work, i loved it. mainly coz i recognised places from every shot, but it was a great movie.

The story was good and easy to follow. The others suggest that it is perdicatble, but so many films are and I didnt see it as an issue. All in all i think it is a fantastic effort and off a quality that doesnt make you have issues with sitting through its 20 minutes. Prehaps seek help from people who have some experience in there relavent feilds to help with audio and lighting in your next film which I am sure, like this one will be fantastic.

On the up side, the soundtrack was very good and fit well, this is often something that is a let down in films and its good to see you were ontop of it. The acting was satisfactory and mostly believable but perhaps the parts where it feel short were more noticable due to the issues with audio.

If this was the effect you were going for I dont know. Audio and lighting were the parts that i feel came up short. None of the shots were under exposed but lighting I feel could have been used to better set the mood. Im sure you are aware of any problems with audio so I will not cover them again.

I thought the camera work was the strongest point in this film. very nicly done indeed. However seemed more to mimic the stlyes of a tv show rather than a feature film.

The main constructive critisism I have is to avoid black gaps between scene's. Eg: you could have maybe put in a shot of the apartment building and then the chick in the apartment etc etc... I thought that would have lifed the film a fair bit!

I am the same is lee and hope that you only take advice as constructive critiscism rather than thinking that we are mean arseholes! *smiles* Overall you did well - good time frame. I agree with lee with the story and predictability. The themes were all consistent and I liked how you used lighting outside.

overdub later on as a problem solver? also try and keep to one format, 4:3 or wide as to maintain continuity. handheld camera not good on long shots but great when cut in jumps! could be a tad tighter though. all in all another improvement and to make a 20min short is quite impressive. I would love to see what you can do with a 5-10 min short and the same time to do it in as a 20min. keep improving!

You guys seem to love the backwards plots and the same story of cheating, death and behind closed doors themes. interesting but predictable, sorry! Script is reasonable though and performances from actors are getting more believable each film. second there are a few technical probs such as audio recording, possible
