  • Skyward Sword Faron Woods > Twilight Princess Faron Woods

  • I just heard this tune on an insurance radio commercial...

  • Hate that swishy sound in the background :/ Just a bad rip, I guess.

  • @MisterM2402 No, it's the wind in the trees. lol

  • @Phenolatukas Nah, it sounds to me more like some kind of audio defect. There was never any wind whistling through the trees in the game. There are similar weird effects with a few other songs from various soundtracks rips of TP: e.g. most videos of Ordon Ranch on YouTube have a kind of running water sound, even though there was no water near the ranch, in game. No idea what causes it.

  • @PeterLiberal the 1:22 part, right? Yes you are right. But we cant tell if it was really plagiarism or just coincidence. (very strong coincidence)

  • I found that most music in Twilight Princess had a certain aura about it that made it melancholy and mysterious. I think it made the whole adventure seem like a dream almost and I love it for it! =]

  • This song really confuses the player as to the mood they should be feeling while walking through the forest. You want to feel safe and secure and admire the beauty of the forest but at the same time you feel like there's something at every corner trying to kill you... an unsettling feeling. Beautiful composition.

  • makes me want to re buy the wii and TP and play it again

  • Music is a great listen. enjoyed playing a new zelda after long years. Sad that all the hype 'ruined' the quick and easy playthrough. None the less, it's been a long time since played through this. Warrants another play. :)

  • After hearing this song, I decided that I MUST get this game.

  • @SixOutOfAHundred Enjoy. :)

  • @SixOutOfAHundred

It was a bit easy (even though i followed the advise of leaving all the boss hearts to make those a bit more chalenging) But it's so much fun and the style is nice and gloomy a definite must buy, even more if this is one of your first zelda's (stock up on hearts in that case ;) )

  • I think Mother Nature composed this music.

  • i follow the spirit tracks way

  • Loz OoT and LttP was and shall be the best zelda games ever (w/ exception of the first one, the one that started it all :D )

  • KING K WUZ HERE 2011

  • thumbs up if u think this game is the second best game of the zelda saga

  • @NAVlK I agree but I'm not thumbing up because you asked for it

  • @orven1995 okays u.u

  • This little part of melody from the Game shows, how powerful it is,the story of this Game,i think so,it'S one of such very beautiful stories that a game could have and the music shows that very good.. (soorry for my english, it isn't the best^^)

  • another perfect song from another perfect addition to the franchise

  • I don't mind if a new Zelda is "more of the same." The Zelda series is fine the way it is. If they can deliver a great new story in the same universe, add new places to explore, new items and ways to play as they've done so far, I'm in. I don't expect the series to change drastically with every version. With fps games it's hard not to do the same thing with each installment, but with adventure/rpg games, they can keep it interesting and new in some way.

  • @Mogglecito i have to completely agree with you, although i love both of the games regardless. Either way, the music in any LoZ game is going to be amazing.

  • Stupid guy who gave me his lantern for free. His soup suck like mother ******* hell.

  • ate rex saurus the them phathom phantom ganondorf forest leaves sun fire bolero

  • After watching the four hour speed run of this game I learned more about it than I ever expected. You can jump right through the gate without even changing your clothes! It's nuts.

  • These compositions were great, and theres a lot of them off Twilight princess.

  • p good

  • If all of those songs are from the games you played, (mostly) then I want to ask how can you play that much games.

  • Supra BE CAUTIOUS. Silvagunner... then who knows. You? Garudoh? I DONT WANNA LOSE YOU GUYS... <33

Also, I am a guy. Do not thinnk i am a homosexual.

not that thats wrong or anything...

  • Put this on your headphones and walk through a peaceful wood. Take a deep breath, relax and wait for some melancholia.

  • I didn't find much of Twilight Princess memorable. Maybe it had too much to live up to with OoT and MM standing over it.

  • Silvagunner ):

  • >Get out of twilight

    >Hear this song

    >PIMP WALK

  • Most Zelda fans are divided on how the Zelda series should progress.

Take the WW route, letting Miyamoto do what he wants with his game resulting on the fans bashing it?

Or the TP route, giving fans what they want, only to they bash it later for being more of the same?

Sadly the Zelda fanbase is going to the route of the FF or Sonic fanbase now.

  • @Mooglecito

And then there are the fans that are still happy with whatever Nintendo produces :)

  • @Mooglecito its casual video gamers that made a video game sold million of copies not the hardcore fanbase, so it doesnt matter

  • @Mooglecito. I go for both of them. Because the games are very, very good regardless.

  • @Mooglecito Personally, I as a fan want the linear timeline, (because I grew up with the entire zelda franchise) but another part of me just wants gameplay, I agree and disagree with the fans, such as myself, in other words, I just as much a fan of gameplay now, then linear timeline.

  • @Mooglecito That's called "damned if you do, damned if you don't." Pandering to fans can be dangerous. Not listening can be dangerous. It's a delicate balance. I prefer unique games. Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda.

  • @Mooglecito I know what you mean... I'm the WW route... Miyamoto knows best.... :3

but at least most of us can all agree on one thing, "Ocarina of time" nuff said

  • @Mooglecito

    Parallel Zelda universes?

  • @Mooglecito I dunno about everyone, but I personally felt that WW is one of the best games that has been made by Nintendo.

  • @shadowkill64. Same here. But some people just don't know the true meaning games these days.

  • @Mooglecito Unfortunately, now there's furries involved.

  • @Mooglecito He experimented with Wind Waker, and see how well that turned out! It's one of the best in the series!

  • @Mooglecito Personally I've never felt a need to bash any Zelda game. I do, however, prefer the darker atmosphere of Oot/MM/TP. What I do think Nintendo should keep in mind is that the core of Zelda fans are now adults and not children.

  • @AkhmedSync Actually, that's true, but for the wrong reasons. Children tend to play games like GTa or CoD because they think it's cool to play only "grown-up" stuff, so they only buy "mature" games that contain blood, gore and sex. And yet adults are the main demographic buying games aimed at children (like Kirby's Epic Yarn, Katamary or Pokemon) because with their maturity they can appreciate the games for the fun they bring instead of the lack of violence

  • Comment removed

  • @AkhmedSync yeah but nintendo keeps gaining new fans which are kids, so i say they can take whatever route they wanna.

  • @LlamasInYourCloset I don't really know of any young kids who play a lot of Nintendo's core franchises, though.

  • @AkhmedSync As a 26 year old, I don't know a lot of young kids. Besides, doesn't Nintendo only have like, 3 core franchises any more? Or is it just 3 that reemerge per console cycle?

  • @spanio Admittedly I'm only basing it on anecdotal evidence. I have a lot of young cousins who play games, but none of them play Zelda or even Mario. Most of them who have a Wii play the games Nintendo marketed toward "casuals," and the more "mature" games they play are franchises on the Xbox 360.

I feel like Nintendo just has an irrational aversion to appealing to anyone over the age of 12. But with games like Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Twilight Princess they show that they can do it.

  • @Mooglecito So true. I also noticed that whenever I saw TP and WW. WW was something Nintendo enjoyed to make because they did what they themselves wanted. With TP, they just did what the fans wanted and when i play TP i can sense that TP wasnt made with the same love or enthusiam as when Nintendo worked on WW. Maybe its just me tho'.

  • @Mooglecito TP is catering to the fans but the game was innovative (eg the dragons fought via hookshot) this was partially because it couldnt rely on the m.plus. SS is killer but I almost feel like TP's puzzles were more of a challenge + not as much prompting from Link's sidekick in order to complete tasks. Aside from this SS works well imo. If TP's scale was too ambitious & Zelda builds on the SS route, it could be good. In any case some fans will bash any series, cant win em all.

  • @Mooglecito Dont worry man. In a recent interview with Eiji Aonuma he said they don't really look what the fans want when making a new Zelda game.

I think TP is the only game where they kinda did that, and learned from that. Not that TP was a bad game of course.

  • I dunno whats up with the "fans" but i'm so glad i'm able to enjoy this game.

  • Damn. I LOVE this piece of music.

I REALLY feel like replaying Twilight Princess right now. D:

  • i fell inlove with all the music in twilight princess and then i got to the final boss and was like

    "wth a bunch men grunting?"

not to mention ganon was waaaay to easy

other than that one of THE best zelda games ive played xD

  • I think the game would have been better without the whole twilight aspect as it did not really appeal to me.

Don't get me wrong, i still love the game. But the visualeffects of the twilight was kinda off, and beeing a dog wasn't that pleasant.

  • @Somberlain85 oh, it was the complete opposite for me : i loved to see Hyrule in the mesmerizing twilight, and found it sad to eventually see it all clear...and i also loved to play as a gorgeous doggie beast <3

  • 1 word to describe this song: BEAUTIFUL.

  • do you have a link for this?

  • It's too bad you can barely extract the background noises from the area for the song... Still a great theme, though!

  • @MynameisP57 I think it contributes here. Although it can be a little quieter. haha

  • been playing zelda since snes,

awh what a wonderful series :)

  • Best song in the game imo. I had an amazing experience playing and beating this game during my senior year of high school. Nostalgia man...

  • good game but damn there is so much borin parts... expecially when u had to ride the dog... mad boring

  • i loved the atmosphere of this game

  • This game had such a 'mysterious' feeling too it. Love it!

  • I hope that Kakariko Village will be on this list later. My favorite in the whole game!

  • Finally, something off the TP soundtrack on this list!

Personally, it's the best game soundtrack I've ever heard.

Not necessarily this song, but some of the music in there is absolutely amazing.

  • @mouse264 Reallt? Only this, the twilight realm songs, and Zant's battle theme were good.

  • Despite beating this within 3 days of getting it, I love this game. Really want Midna to either have her own game or make another appearance in the next Zelda game. :\

But yeah, I really like this theme. It's kind of celestial if you ask me. Like, otherworldly.

  • @TheInunah u beat the whole game in 3 days? how much did u play it a day?

  • @786hellomoto if you only play through the story 3 days is fine

  • @Shinou00 alright thanks 4 that info - how long would u reckon it would take to beat OOT (just the story)?

  • @786hellomoto i cant really tell since i never ran through OoT's story , but i can guess it's between 1 or 2 days? Someone correct me if im wrong ^^

  • @Shinou00 u guys are fast it took me ages to complete oot - soon i will start TP cant wait

  • @Shinou00 Maybe three days, if you've got stuff to do. haha

  • This game redefined repetitive. Only dungeon I liked was the sand dungeon, and that's mostly because of the boss. Took me over a year to work through; I'm never buying another zelda game. . . . unless they do another, better windwaker-like game.

  • @ClockwerkDingo A year!? Well, you're young so I suppose that probably had something to do with it. Or you're just really really bad at Zelda games.

  • @DoctorAtomic1111 No, it took me a year because I didn't want to play it. I finally just convinced myself it needed to be beaten and forced myself to take the time. I actually had my friend play a couple of the dungeons for me while I watched lol.

  • @ClockwerkDingo Slacker.

  • @ClockwerkDingo

yeah but wind waker is the the easiest zelda game, but i still love it. all zelda games are great (not the cd-i piles of shit). but i think twilight princess was just realy awesome, great story great gameplay, i hope skyward sword will be a bit more difficult tho

  • @ClockwerkDingo Yeah yeah whatever.

  • @Stegamasarous A huge amount of people like this game and its music (myself included) so its natural that it would be on this list. You are part of a minority of people who hate this game ( I can't really understand why though)

Personally, this is my favorite zelda game, better than OOT, MM, and WW combined. I hope people don't think I'm crazy for saying that...

  • This reminds me of the music from the evil forest in Final Fantasy 9

  • beautiful song. it has a very bitter and sad feeling. And the composition sounds so 16bitish that i just an't avoid to love it.

  • this was probably my favorite zelda game for the GC, even though wind waker really had an impact on me. I fell in love with a lot of the music for TP, but i also agree with most of the other comments about Link's Awakening. God i love zelda games so much :D

  • Very good game, not one of the best, but very good, even if i was a little disapointed.

I prefer A Link to the past, Wind Waker and Link's Awakening better.

  • @bart78170

Don't know about that dude... I really enjoyed this one, at least more than wind waker. Nothing beats Link's Awakening though.

  • Get a Wii, it can play GameCube games.

  • My favorite theme of this game would have to be the epic field theme.

  • Christmas 2006 ;_;

  • awesome and so relaxing

  • this is so true ^.^ 5*

  • Oh geez, the hate? It's not crap, faggots.

It's maybe not as good as OOT, but it still has its style. It's good.

  • I agree that the music wasn't the best in the Legend of Zelda series. I guess Koji Kondo ran out of ideas.

  • well, saving midna was good at least

  • this game was crap comparing i to the oldest ones,i liked more wind waker, more vast world, more sub-quests

  • Crap?

    Huh.

  • yes, huh?

  • Huh.

  • the graphics were meant to be more of an artistic type of approach, and the story was good in my opinion, following the disappearance of Link in OoT . Wind Waker was great, different, but great nonetheless.

  • i have to agree with you on the TP part, but i liked the graphics in TWW. the triforce collection quest did seemed like something to make the game longer. but i enjoyed TWW overall.

  • wind waker was awesome imo :)

  • 42 hours? And you're proud?

  • I wouldn't bother him too much about it. 42 hours is quite much for any Zelda title, but he did say he did it without a guide. Most players I hear of who takes long on certain games tend to relie on a guide. While I plow through many games in far less time, I admit to using a guide on occasion.

  • i beat the game in 42 hours on my first run through without a guide. i was proud. water temple took up most of that time and i wish i could replay all the boss battles and the hidden village part

  • I love listening to this song wen its quiet

  • link wear ugg boots

  • LOLOLOLOLOL

    not funny.

  • I accidentally opened up two of this one. They're off sync by about a quarter of a second, and it comes across very wonderfully.

  • my favourite zelda game. it improved everything from the n 64 games.

i should finish it i think (already spent 40 hours on it :-) )

  • 70 hours. :D 30 of it is messing around and stuff.

  • There weren't enough (fun) minigames imho.

  • When I first beat Twilight Princess, I had 73 hours on it and I have no idea on what.

  • This song is kind of depressing. :| Still, really reflects the mood of the game.

    0:31 - 0:51 4/5 stars :)

  • I love this game <3

And i love the music in Hyrule (is Hyrule the right name? I am german so i dont know the name in the english version)

  • yeah hyrule is right

  • hey it'd be cool to know what the german version is. An approximation into english at least and maybe a translation

  • Music to relax. I like it... Imagine your are at a Beach or in a forest reading a book and hear that music...

  • if i am not mistaken, there is a blue bird that sells oil and a red medicine...

i accidentally didn't pay him and now whenever i come to this place it thinks i am a thief and starts to pluck me... :SSSS

  • Just pay him some rupees and he will stop trying to peck your eyes out.

  • i love this game i beat the wholle game

i loved it so much i started a new file and beat it again

OMG i now have 3 beaten files lol

  • This is a great song, but I don't understand how you could leave out the Hyrule Field theme from this game. To each his own, I suppose. Still appreciate all the work that you've done in making this awesome channel.

  • Its just your opinion fair enough but cant agree that this is 64th and Forest Temple from Ocarina of Time is 215th.

  • I'm pretty sure these aren't really in any specific order.

  • This is not a list for ranking songs, the number is just the number of song that he has uploaded, like this is the 64th song that SupraDarky has uploaded.

  • i loved this game! my favorite temple would have to be the desert one.

  • This song is almost similar to the city of the ancients track in FF VII. Awesome song on its own merits though.

  • Love this song! TP was the first Zelda game I played, but you have to start somewhere, right? Then I played Hourglass Ocarina Wind Waker and LTTP, so I'm die-hard now!

  • In a way I feel sorry for you that you haven't played Ocarina Of Time, in my opinion the best zelda game...Majora's mask is OKAY but not that great

  • @MaxandChaz Yes! You're way better than these so called "fans" saying this game is "meh".

This is one of my favorites from the game.

  • @MaxandChaz ye ye play link to the past and then we'll talk...

  • @MaxandChaz That's the spirit :]

  • @MaxandChaz I also started with TP, then Phantom Hourglass, OoT and Spirit tracks xD

  • @MaxandChaz ocarina is the best.

  • @MaxandChaz same man, this was my first zelda game. obviously i loved the game but i'm also a huge music fan and the games music was just beautiful, i remember being blown away by it

  • @MaxandChaz

To get really die-hard, you still have to play at least original LOZ, Links Awakening and Minish Cap!

  • @Zdem0Z Don't forget A Link to the Past!

  • @DiggerandIndy He said LTTP.....

  • @Zdem0Z don't forget majoras mask.

  • @MaxandChaz Ocarina of Time? You arent a zelda fan until you play that one..although link to the past gives you alot of points haha

  • @imraw17 How many points do people get if they've played? Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (Though I never liked the timer) Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks I'm wondering as I own all of those games?
  • @JasonBurrows1989 hah you beat more than I have..meaning more points than I have myself.

  • @imraw17 Dunno what's going on with the points and fans and shit, but I'm sorry to say that Link To The Past was one of the hardest shits I've ever played. Never beat it.

  • @GigaGabo points was just my way of saying video game skills haha..but yeah it was pretty damn hard.

  • @imraw17 I disagree. Since Ocarina of Time is the most well-known one, most people's played, even if it's kinda the whole beginning of the story. If you ask me I'd say Majora's Mask and the some of the old ones.

  • @6HagareNo6Yumi6 I need to play Majoras Mask. Maybe you're right.

  • Such a beautiful game with beautiful music... this game has a lot of fantastic details. I love to be in the woods just to enjoy the sunset... ♥

  • boohoohoo this was the first zelda game i played. i missed out on so much.

  • Sadly...Windwaker was mine, but I caught up...well, actually, Links Awakening was. Play windwaker and ocarina plus majora. Then play hte 2D ones and some of the handhelds, they're great. Theres a reason they've lasted for so long.

  • Im sure you can catch up somehow

  • also, kinda sounds like a couple of tracks from FF7. probably why i liked twilight princess so much, aside from it being an amazing game.

  • I think there are a lot of better Zelda vgm, this one is not even in my own top 50 video I made, but I respect your opinion

  • Yea, this reminds me of FF7 also, weird.

  • Dude, I know exactly the track you're thinking of.

  • I know the track you're thinking of, and it reminds me of it too. Awesome song. :)

  • so relaxing.

  • Because overall the scale of the game is larger.

  • This kinda reminds me of a FF7 track...

  • Yeah please give a more difficult Zelda! Atleast let it be like the Phantom Hourglass, that game is pretty hard.
