  • this song sounds like after the burial, which isnt a bad thing at all.

  • lyrics are deep shit o. o but are complete true.

  • Okay boys and girls. Lets have a FRIENDLY conversation about a groovy band. So..... Does anyone have a man crush on Dozer?

  • After I bought the cd...I went to my car after work and picked up my girlfriend...we put the cd in... the volume was low....yeah...now the car's speakers are being replaced.

  • As I Plea Dying

  • @matalor As I Lay Purging

  • First Physical CD I bought in years, put in car...... volume was low.. I put it louder. *BOOM*.......

    Daddy liiiiiiike... ;)

  • this song is powerful and beastly like

  • Meshuggah and August burns red's fucking spawn dude.

  • august pleas red

  • me gusta :)

  • we're all playing "ketchup" in this human race. lol.

  • Makes me wanna boogie down

  • ok, bring on Easterfest!! this will be amazing

  • lyrics are fuckin nasty. im glad i found this. fuckins exy

  • /watch?v=3rJ_gYLWdFg

  • Hitting people is Ok in A pit! That is if you help them back up After you hit them! Music Is A Brotherhood! To be enjoyed by everyone! Don't be a scene pussy and wait for your friends to watch you hit someone and leave them laying.

  • @SirToeTagger dont you mean pushing and shit? if someone hit me in a pit and fucking nutt them. pits arent for faggots who swing their arms around trying to intentionally punch people. generally moshing is cool, and thats when you pick them up if they get shoved too hard and fall over :P but hittings a bit faggotry, dont you get enough fun out of just running and jumping everywhere?

  • @Legion1094 In the pits at my Venue There is running, jumping, and hitting! but whenever someone steps too close or isn't paying attention, they usually get hit but the person who hits them stops what they are doing and picks them back up! Not saying intentional hitting is cool, but sometimes it just happens :p

  • 6 people are retarded.

  • its been 6 days, running low on water........ still haven't found jevinshollywood's comment.

  • I want old Plea back this shit is boring, It's like the whole song is the chorus and they left out everything else.

  • I have some friends who don't believe this is a Christian Band.

I only have the first Album.

Can someone please direct me to a Lyric video where it's open and Obvious, like the song "A Hyme of Praise" from the First CD?

  • @JoshuaSunOfNun i dont think they really are, andy has said in a few interviews that theyre christian, so sometimes there beliefs bleed into the lyrics because thats what there life is about, i dont think theyre a christian band in the sense that, every single song has something to do with god or whatever

  • @ccyanide92 Whats the Point of being an All-Christian Band, if your not going to be a Christian Band.

I grew up Listening to Pantera, Death, Sepultura, etc. and APFP's First CD Is the Best Metal Album I have ever heard Musically speaking. That's not even getting into the really Good Lyrics. I can't believe they fell off.

  • sounds like Djent ..i like it !

  • @LordSauercrowd the fuck is a djent.

  • @SamLikesWolf Djent is a style of Metal like Meshuggah :)

  • @LordSauercrowd why must people fit everything into a box it is so stupid.

  • @LordSauercrowd djent is literally the sound the guitar makes and nothing more. that's like saying reverb is a genre

  • @vtmike13 Dude, are you retarded? djent is a sub genre of metal not a sound, pretty sure effects pedals don't have a "djent setting"

  • @oJumanjiio Hahahahahaha are you serious? Djent is not a sub genre of anything, moron. It's just a style of guitar playing. That's like saying, "hey dude, did you hear that new breakdown band?"

  • @oJumanjiio Don't get butthurt because you're wrong. Tosin Abasi agrees with me.

  • @oJumanjiio get... the fuck out. now

  • @oJumanjiio I'm sorry buddy, your going to have to do some research on "Djent",

It's a certain sound quality Messuggah pioneered&coined, and that bands such as Periphery and After the Burial have perfected and basically popularized.

It's how a low frequency guitar(most common a 7-string) is played with an open 4string chord, and is also defined how a certain way you record that sound.

Whoever told you it's a genre is utterly wrong.

  • @LordSauercrowd Oh god...not another one of these kids...

  • Beautiful.

  • Iv been listening to these guys for a long time now and they never failed

  • Comment removed

  • good lyrics from a christian band? I would expect no less of plea

  • What I hate more than hardcore dancers are hipsters who don't even move. You payed money to go to the show, yet you stand around looking like you'd rather be anywhere else.

  • I don't remember posting the highest rated comment lol.

  • @tomdmcpwn You can say that again.

  • Somebody listened to way too much Meshuggah

  • @RicoAM If you think this is bad listens to Volumes new stuff... atleast this has its own touch to it.

  • @RicoAM fuck yeah, its a great inspiration !

  • Song of Conviction right here! Thanks PLEA.

  • This album and Molotov Solution's new release are pretty much up for best album 2011

  • @1stdoublekill check out Impulse by Erra

  • @danieldastrummer I, The Breather

  • new stuff is sick

  • Groove isn't djent.

  • enough with the djent comments already!

  • this will be the best album of the year next to animals as leaders

  • I honestly don't hear the "djent" you guys are talking about. When I think djent, I think like Periphery or Legend. Not this necessarily. PLEA is still my all time favorite though.

  • @GabeSandwich Check out a video called - PLEA Studio Video 5: NEW SONG teaser - and you'll hear the djent. Too good bro!

  • so much groove

  • About time there was some new APFP

  • Comment removed

  • idk wat to think of this new album...

  • are they breaking up? cause I keep seeing their guitarist do his own solo stuff, and I keep hearing about one last mega tour. so is this the life and death of APLEA?

  • @Nazreth187 Nope, they aren't breaking up.

  • Is it just me, or is there organ playing during the chorus?

  • @bluesdeluxe40 its probably a clean guitar overdub with a rotary effect on it

  • @MegaMoshTV wow did you just say that?? wtf is wrong with you, this sounds nothing like attack attack. a plea is a REAL band.

  • A PLEA FOR DJENT FUCK YEAH!!!!!!

  • Pleariffery

  • @berserker213 Correction: Pleashuggah.

  • AHHHHHHHHHHH SHIT. Cant wait for the new album...

  • Me gusta.

  • \m/

  • DAMNN!!!!! NOW DATS A SEXY SONG

  • LMAO... The intro sounds like a bad ass Nintendo level then cranks that shit up and kicks your ass like a PS3

  • LOVE the melody addition. give it a structured style.

  • why doesnt this have 1 billion views?

  • @hardcorealonso36 because this isn't like the eternal female. :P

  • no breakdown?

  • @jevinshollywood that's a good thing. It's not creative to have a open power chords played the same way in every metal song ever.

  • @Rbrockcoble but i like to murder people at shows during breakdowns

  • @jevinshollywood There are more parts that breakdowns that you can "hardcore dance" to..Actually listen to the rhythm of the music to do something

  • @jevinshollywood the rebellious scene kid's guide to dancing to plea for purging music. 0:01 = dance + frown 0:18 = dance + frown 0:36 = dance + frown 0:54 = DANCE + hit people cause that gets you "rep" 1:10 = dance + frown 1:39 = do the bounce walk, catch breath + frown 2:31 = fold arms in front +frown + headbang slightly 2:53 = dance + frown 3:19 = bounce walk, catch breath. frown. 3:59 = DANCE + frown 4:16 = dance + frown. the rest of us musicians will be watching and laughing.
  • @Supernova325 kill yourself

  • @jevinshollywood busy critically listening to fantasticful tunes from a plea for purging.

  • @Supernova325 This has got to be the greatest comment I've ever read in my life lol.

  • @Supernova325 go fuck yourself :)

  • @Supernova325 I love concerts. But I do hate "hardcore dancers." They have ruined the mosh pit. Not only do they take up unnecessary space, they just look idiotic. They are destroying concerts, and not in a good way.

  • @Supernova325 or you could be less stuck up and not be a music snob and just have fun like everyone else, AND be a musician, you know sometimes you chill sit back and study how the band plays their music, and other times you can just get in and throw down, not to act cool, but to just have fun with your bros at a show

  • @musicluuva seeing as how i usually pay at least 10 bucks to see this band live.... NO.

thanks. i'm here to see live music. if i just wanted to hit innocent people, i could have done that for free.

i don't care how you enjoy the music. but don't get all defensive just because i think you look ridiculous. I "have fun with my bros at a show" by standing with them right next to the stage and critiquing the band and their playing style, learning what we can.

Whatever. you do what you want.

  • @Supernova325 its not that a care that you think it looks rediculous, its just i want to put you in your place for thinking you are SUPERIOR to those who do like to dance, because your not, just because you are a musician and study how a band plays does not make you better than anyone else enjoying the show, there are plenty of people who like doing both, so get the fuck over yourself dude

  • @Supernova325 just because you throw down doesn't mean you're not a musician. I play bass in a prog metal band, but i still love going in the pit. Your comment's pretty fucking funny though, i gotta admit haha

  • @lesclaypoolthesecond this comment is in reply to "i like to murder people at shows during breakdowns". my firm and unyielding belief is that people who go to shows to hit people are stupid. what you think about it is irrelevant to whether or not i believe it.

    dancing is dancing.

if you enjoy dancing, that's fine. so do some of my friends.

if you enjoy hitting people, then... enjoy building "rep" or whatever. let me know how that works for you.

  • @Supernova325 alright. i didn't see the comment you replied to. my bad, man

  • @Supernova325 hitting people IS part of a metal show. It shouldnt be intentional or directed at a certain person, but its gona happen and its fucking fun

  • @p2psux5 hitting people is part of kindergarten.

i'm sure you think it's cool and fun. that's generally the way being a douche works.

just remember everyone else in the room paid to be there too. and don't hit me or my friends while we're trying to learn something from the people on stage.

  • @Supernova325 Having played a shit ton of shows before, I can safely say I'm pissed when people don't react energetically to riffs I wrote. I'm not so sure moshing is cool, since you seem to think standing around and wanking to a band is cool, but you cant deny that its fun because it releases endorphins

  • @jevinshollywood seriously? ... scenekid detected

  • @XvgrvX lol, I was expecting breakdowns too, but I'm kinda glad they aren't here.

  • @ACowWithTetanus dude they forreal pulled it off well. id eff a breakdown if they where females .. but this song is just so Djent/groovy and smooth that you cant help but to love it for what it is... atleast for me.

  • @jevinshollywood djent grooves > breakdowns

  • @berserker213 Amen.

  • Sort of reminds me of "Depravity",consistent rythum throughout with the vocals staying along. And that my friends is a awesome thing :)

  • Someone's riding the djent train. Not that I mind, they always had that djent feel to their music, ever since Depravity.

  • Everyone has their own opinions about djent and the arguing won't ever stop. Now shut up and listen to some good music, like this. Thank you and take care.

  • Kinda hope that's the cover,I like it,simple yet effective.

  • @riseabove06

try telling Periphery that. It's a style of pick attack and playing

  • @CodfishReckonin You're an idiot. Meshuggah coined the fucking term, and Fredrik Thordendal has stated it's to be defined as a tone.

  • @CodfishReckonin Periphery's guitarist himself said it isn't a style or genre and that it is indeed a tone.

  • @slickdan619 who cares what periphery think they are shit, meshuggah are the only people who's opnions on djent are valid

  • If this song was a drug. I'd melt it down and inject it straight into my ass.

  • @Rusty103091 dont do that. It might hurt

  • 0:46... were always playing ke$ha in this human race!

  • Well, now it's time to masturbate.

  • The beginning definitely threw me off but as soon as :18 hit, pee dribbled out haha. So stoked for this new album!

  • Something just happened in my pants.

  • Kid below me, great move. People saying this is djent are stupid as fuck. Your all clowns. PLEA 2011 baby

  • Yeah, so I just streamed this over the system at the gym I work for. The djent completely through everyone off the treadmills. I'm probably gonna get fired, but it was WELL worth it. Can I sell your merch? Ha

  • I have listened to metal all my life. Why is it that i've never heard of "djent" until this video was posted? and no one seems to be able to describe it clearly so i dont even know what it is.

  • @sooperkid321 Djent isn't style of music, but it's a style of guitar playing.

BUT, for me - Djent is style of music, like i said))

  • Also, the bass tone is fantastic

  • Fucking great song. Tuning to J flat and chugging the faces off everyone. Love it. Sounding dirty. Drum tone is great, too. Esp the toms. Excited for the full length

  • However, Djent is an awesome style of musiс now, for me.

    Peace! x)

  • TONE

  • @MegaMoshTV YOU LISTEN TO ATTACK ATTACK?

  • djent still isn't even a guitar tone. its a technique. aside from that, songs rules

  • I have to be honest and say I only enjoy maybe half of this song. The main riff is good, but the rest sounds like whiny post rock garbage that Seether might play. Why PLEA? WHY? all joking aside, it's a solid song.

  • @MegaMoshTV

if this is an attempt to say plea is like AA, you're off your nut by a mile. pfp is beyond better. AA sucks. plea is a genuine bunch of nice dudes, and they dont use bad dubstep in every breakdown.

  • Good !! mââ!

  • 1 person was looking for "Got The Life" but forgot the word "Got". Korn, I am disappoint :(

  • @3:59 I shat on myself

  • I'm so stoked for the new album!!!!

  • A Plea For Purdjing

  • Love the screams. Can't wait to cover this

  • those complaining about the repetitiveness of the riff probably love queens of the stone age.

  • :18 ROADHOUSE!

  • needs more cowbell.

  • This makes me happy.

  • Um, is there a word that's greater than "Awesome"? Because I think someone needs to invent it to describe this song. Like ridiculouslyawesomesupergnarlymetalfacingpeelingearsrejoicewithgoodness

  • Just to clarify the thumbs down button isn't a download button. :D

  • Sounds so good! Great job guys!

  • DOO DOO DOODS.

  • DJES!

  • I really like the music but something about the recording quality doesn't quite seem them. Im my personal opinion, they should have recorded the whole thing with Brian Hood at 456 Recordings. He mixed and mastered their last album (J. Sturgis recorded) and it sounded amazing. I especially don't like the drums.

  • @weareannabellee I agree with you. I'm not sure but I think the record have not yet been mastered so the sound will be more brighter on the actual album.

  • @weareannabellee I disagree. While Brian Hood did a great job mixing the last record, I really like this one a lot better and especially because of the drums. I like that these are 100% natural and not the same old samples Sturgis uses in all of his productions. I love the vibe and how dirty this sounds, I think it adds to the heaviness and is a great sound for the band. :D (IMO)

  • @riseabove06 words evolve and change, dawg. get over it.

  • Comment removed

  • I like it and will pick up the new album for sure, but I wish it had as much melody as some of the songs off of Depravity.

  • @Shootdownthedino *snores* shame those releases don't catch my attention :P

  • wooooooooowwwwwww this is fav song right now

  • i'm already addicted to this song. multiple views already. i love PLEA

  • This is fantastic.

  • Still the same great Plea! Loving this!

  • This song is great!! The lyrics are very strong and its exactley what ive been going through i love this band sooooo much thank you plea

  • the art looks like Of Mice & Men's album The Flood

  • @MrBendoug Of Mice & Men blows.

  • Great message, great music.

  • This is pretty good :D

  • I don't care I love plea and this song is still good so all you haters can Suck It
