Came across this looking for a vid of Edwyn Collins playing acoustic to link to on a blog I post to betimes... Not a bad consolation prize finding this though - very touching tribute SecretStrummer ! I also learn that he's pulling through his health problems which is an even more consoling prize (have sort of lost touch for the last year). Ta again from a fan from Dublin..

Oh no! Dingwalls has sold out. If anyone has a spare ticket please take pity on me. After all I've written the only Edwyn Collins tribute in existence and now haven;t got a ticket for his comeback gig. Sob!

Hi Luca - if you put "edwyn collins" +"don't shilly shally" in a Google images search that's what comes up. But I agree I can't find anything definitive - the only Ebay thing I could find no longer has the pic on. Also seems to have been a design on a T-shirt.

Looks like it might be for "Don't Shilly Shally" - that's what the jpeg implies. This was his first solo single in '86 it seems before the first solo album "Hellbent on Compromise" three years later.

Hi Luca. Sorry I'm not sure if it even is a record. I just collected the images from Google images, and added a few screen grabs from news websites, plus 'borrowed' some from Edwyn's MySpace. If it is a record cover I wonder if it's a single for early solo days - but to be honest the pic looks a bit young for that. I'll try to find out.
