@eurohim No.. its a Hax squat machine.. And hes going WAY to deep.. hax squat is to a Seated position with the legs out infront of u.. which is a 90degree bend in the knee..he is going much deeper, Awsome that he can, but he is greatly increasing the possibility of injury, thats Way beyond proper ROM for that workout. I bet with a Smith press machine he cant do 405 to a Seat and Stand back up properly doing a hax squat.
hey sporto great form btw .. just a quick question when i go heavy on hacks i get a lot of shoulder pain from the pads pressing down on my shoulders anything i can do to prevent this ( besides adding more mass to my shoulders) also when you do leg presses up side down ones my legs hit my rib cage like at half reps any advice/tips ?
@TKelichner - Why is that? Because I don't takemyself so hardcore seriously that I can actually have a sense of humor while I lift more than you?
And natural bodybuilders don't use drugs genius - obviously there will be a difference in size compared to people who choose to use drugs...but at least I dwarf your tiny ass, so it's all good.
amazing I also like to do hack squats I recently did 10 reps. with just 5 -45 lbs. on each side. congratulations and by the way how much can you squat (regular squat)
sup with all the youtube experts commenting on knee problems. Have you ever read any science in your lives or is this just anecdotal broscience nonscence? Below parallel recruits posterior chain and limits the stress on the knee tendons/ligaments throughout the ROM. Go indulge in some Mark Rippetoe anatomy writings on squat/deadlift form and allignments etc..
This guy his knees probably are wrecked after a few years. Watch closely at his heels. From rep 1 his heels come up. Lower the weight and keep your heels down.
@tradguitarplaya I normally don't wear a belt at all unless I'm dieting or in contest prep mode simply to reduce wear and tear on the core and lower back. But in the offseason, I don't wear anything at all
My IT-Bands were strained pretty bad and squats were aggrevating them. I just did them yesterday for the first time in a while and they seemed to be fine, so they will be back in now :)
To prevent injuries, you need to take preventative measures. I do a lot of stretching, warming up, cooling down, take joint care supplements, get plenty of rest, keep hydrated, keep all micronutrients from getting deficient, etc...
Can't go any lower than that. Lots of people load up and do partial reps. But you are the few person that I saw actually go as far as physically possible. And no "knee wrap"! Strong tendon BTW.
nice work, thats where a lot of guys skip out on, is leg strength, thats my strong point. makes me want to push even harder tomorrow when i have my legs day.
@TKelichner holy crap what a stupid question.

Lol funny Lou Ferrigno impression.
hitmancoolio 1 year ago
No offense but this isn't quite as impressive as the title makes it sound.
14 plates is 630 lbs. However, you're pressing at a 45 degree angle, which is the equivalent of a vertical press of 315 lbs.
Of course we all know being strong isn't necessarily the goal of a body builder.
barrysbody 1 year ago
@barrysbody
None taken. But your analogy is not even close and made me laugh :)
Sporto4323 1 year ago
@Sporto4323
I wasn't making an analogy. It's a simple fact of physics that you are only applying the force required to move 315 lbs vertically.
The force vectors would be exactly the same. Unless I am missing something which is entirely possible.
