  • that must have been hard do to with a boner....no puns intended

  • Your vid went viral on Chad

  • This vid went viral on Ecuador

  • he drops his stick... and still wins epically... amazing.

  • boring...

  • Tim Jackson is THE BEST TENOR PLAYER THAT EVER LIVED

  • That sheet music would make my eyes explode..

  • Wait..is...is that Steve Jobs?!?!?!?!!?

  • thumbs up if when it was over you were like hooooooollllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyy shit

  • anyone else see a steve job resemblance?

  • he looks like he has a chubby this whole video:P

  • @MrCalebs11 i know i did

  • @MrCalebs11 good job staring at it the whole video.

  • @zwigoose steve jobs is epic so i could see him being an amazing tenor player lol

  • @phienas1 no one writes out sheet music for their I & E solo, retard

  • I WANNA BE JUST LIKE HIM WHEN I GROW UP :)

  • @ofatheroartither obviously u aren't involved in any kind of marching or keyboard percussion ensemble. If u don't understand the music or the technique or the art, u have absolutely no right to criticize it. This type of music is a completely different universe compared to Indian music. There really isn't any way to compare the two in the first place. And if u think that that was void of any skill, then make a video of urself doing that routine and we'll judge whether or not u were right.

  • Winning! (said like charlie sheen)

  • Tim Jackson is so badass he can drop a stick and still fuckin win XD

  • @VinceD96

Intentional stick drop, check out the other videos d:

  • YES DUBLIN JEROME MOTHER FUCKERS

  • it took me like half way through to reae that its 3 tenors lol

  • He is a fucking God!!!!

  • rhythm in india is considered musical because the musicians use it in interesting, intellectual, conversational ways which mimic and reflect the nature of human interaction. not this bullshit where some asshole plays 100 million notes in 4 minutes all at the same dynamic. oh wait! he switches to soft mallets in the middle! oh god!!! now its so musical!!! get over yourself dci.

  • @ofatheroartificer I agree with what you said about music in India, it is intriguing and I enjoy it. However this "assholes" performance consisting of "100 million notes in 4 minutes" Takes loads of skill & hours of practice. I've never seen such amazing technique on tenors. Many people consider tenors and drumline music, MUSIC because they enjoy listening to them. This is What makes Tim Jackson a musician. Just because it is not your type of music doesn't mean it's not music.

  • @ofatheroartificer So...why are you watching this video? You must have searched it for it to even appear...

  • In school, I bet he could write two essays simultaneously

  • He lost his mallet haha

  • thumbs up if this rreminded u of some chineese dude cooking in front of u

  • 22 people were expecting a black person.

  • i hope those sticks were 18

  • Incredible.... He works with the bluecoats now, doesn't he?

  • @FreakoftheArts73 That he does, how lucky are they?!

  • fuck that dude lol

  • B lue Devils represent, they need to win DCI this year even though this was made 5 years ago, they are still good, for any people who enjoy watching drum corps reherse and perform, check out the channel DrumcorpsTube

  • I couldn't help notice the bulge in his pants o.o buit nice drumming!

  • i just started playing tenors and i feel like soooo bad about myself now haha

  • I Just Jizzed My Pantsz o.O

  • this guy is increadable, not only is he techniclly inclined, but he, unlike many drummers, uses phrasing to better emphasize his music as a type of language. thumbs up for sure

  • What the hell is he wearing?

  • the force is strong with this one

  • Fag clothes? lolz

  • @mikkelr1225 youre a fucking idiot... thats his bibber for his uniform with the blue devils... learn something about DCI troll...

  • @wagglemonkey i know, but it still looks fag to me?

  • @mikkelr1225 im sure as hell you couldnt do this...back off

  • @stickgamer1 i can't but it's still fag

  • @mikkelr1225 you must be one of the 22 people who know nothing about DCI or drumming in general

  • I bet yyou he can do a better cadence than most college kids with one hand.

  • try not to blink

  • He is an amazing quad player one of the best i have ever seen hands down

  • 784 people know amazing drumming when they see it

  • He got so good because if he messed up they made him where them while he marched :)

  • I'm confused by this video - I can see the control and speed this guy obviously has, but it's just so uninteresting to listen to.

He probably could've stopped after about a minute and still have demonstrated his skills.

Maybe if it was in a different setting, or as an addition to a song, I might have enjoyed it more.

  • Imagine Wearing those During Marching Season

  • @mefivecent wearing what the tenors or his current clothing. because you wear both of them during any marching event

  • @1:32 he crashd :(

  • @2:56 the mallet is possesed

  • i wish i could've witnessed that.

  • 2:56 the mallet couldn't take his awesomeness anymore and it died and fell out of his hands

  • LMAO! Vic firth oh, how you endorse:)

  • LMAO! Vic furth oh, how you endorse:)

  • I think this guy has serious Practice time issues! O.O He doesn't know when to stop! ;)

  • I feel bad for his neighbors....

  • what does he play at 2:10 that everyone gets so excited about...i cant recognize it =(

  • @mexi53 That's the theme from the Godfather movie trilogy

  • @mexi53 "When the Saints Go Marching In" kind of an American classic...Played by marching bands and used in lots of old cartoons.

  • @mexi53 well for one thing those notes are in groups of three right? and they're not really that fast, but each of those groups of 3 notes is done entirely with one hand. Also those mallets are probably pretty heavy for what's being done with them.

  • @mexi53 It's called Speak Softly Love and it was featured in The Godfather 1 & 2

I refuse to acknowledge part 3's existence...

  • Some parts it looks like he's just hitting random drums but if you watch some parts he repeats

  • If u think about it he's really not that good he's just hitting random drums nd if u think he's going really fast he's not he's just rolling

  • @flubershnoginn

You're an idiot. He's been one of the best quad players in the corps world since 2003. Every bit of this solo is premade and practiced. A lot of this stuff is a lot harder than it looks kid and he plays near flawlessly. Do you honestly believe that you have more knowledge than the judges of one of the most prestigious solo competitions in the world? They gave him first place because he earned it.

  • @flubershnoginn Wow. Just wow. No. Not at all. I'd give anything to be able to play like that and you say he's not that good? Wow.

  • now what if you had to march with thats

  • has anyone noticed his left stick get caught at 3:14?

  • @iLuVsNaRe

Its not caught, he just stick it there for a quarter of time. He's just muting the skin to give an effect.

  • 1:08-1:10 hes totally got a boner from how amazing he is:)

  • This dood is beast who saw wen he lost his stick then he played withed one this dood is awesome wonder wut he can do on drumset travis barker ain got nuthin on this dood right here jus cuz dis im gone suscribe

  • I want to see him march with all 3 tenors.

  • i dont think he is human look at his Tshirt to small he problably stold it from i kid on his way to the show ....OMG aliens are taking over HELP!!!!!!!!!

  • i dont think he is human look at his Tshirt to small he problably stold it from i kid on hes way to the show

  • And who said the snare cats are the cool guys of the line?

  • What a freaking beast, how in the world do you dislike this video. You 21 people obviously dont know anything about anything.

  • His smirk at the end is very charming.

  • i think he mesed up a tiny bit at 0:34

  • just cant stop watching him play

  • Did he drop that softee on purpose? This is an amazing solo. What would this be, 3 sextets = 18... decaoctet? (;

  • Amazing seen more vids of him such skill ! Like buddy rich ^^

  • 21 people tried to do :35 and broke their sticks

  • 21 people watched drumline and said dayum thats some skill!

  • 1:32 that lag uhhhh i love is

  • I'd like to see sheet music for this. Parts of the pages have to be solid black since there's so much going on.

  • Have you ever had that feeling when you're watching someone doing something that they're much better than you in?

  • 21 people obviously know nothing about drumming

  • @drumliner39 THANK YOU

  • @KILLKALL333 Yeah man, I've been drumming for going on 4 years now, this is pure genius and talent. cracks me up how people think he spends little time on these tenor solos when he actually puts ALOT of hard work and time into this. Jackson is a talented tenor player. and one heck of a friendly guy.

  • Comment removed

  • @drumliner39 yeah dude. i've been drumming for going on 4 years now, and this is pure talent. Jackson is amazing.

  • Cool

  • talk about chops

  • i jizzed about 2 minutes

  • i jizzed about 2 minutes

  • Even though this is fricken amazing, let's see you march with three sets of tenors on...

  • how the fuck

  • hahahahah yeahhhh

his stick: "man fuck this!" -goes over board-

  • i wanna see the sheet music for this.. i bet it is EPIC

  • At 2:54 his hands go so fast the stick gives up and jumps overboard.....

  • jizz in my pants!

  • this is real percussian not that death metal shit

  • AMAZING

  • i just pooped.

  • This guy would be the greatest Benihana chef ever.

  • hello past version of my bands percussion director

  • lol at 2:55

  • nigga thats fast

  • neil peart is crying while watching this video

  • @chiodos82 I'd love to see Neil add a section of tenors like this to his drums, to incorporate them in one of his solos. Then, I'd be the crying one.

  • @chiodos82 Niel Peart is a professional percussionist and can go many times faster with more control than this guy, but Niel isn't a show off. He could make any drummer soil themselves in a drum off. Be it Marching snare, tenors, vibes, or any other percussion instrument(except piano).

  • @PhilConey1 im a hardcore Rush fan. i play drums because of Neil Peart im 17 years old and have been to 18 Rush concerts. im telling you this because i love Neil Peart but i seriously doubt that he can play as fast as Tim Jackson. Tim Jackson is considered the 1 of the worlds greatest tenor players. and he can play many many more instruments. Neil is considered one of the worlds greatest set player. but you cannot compare these 2 instruments

  • the first ever video recording of jesus

  • hes such a beast he can drop his stick and still kill it with one hand...

  • @TheForeignReign He does it on purpose, it's to kinda show off, yes, to say I can drop my stick and still win the competition, but also he needs to change his stick and it's a cool transition to make people think he screwed up when it's all planned.

  • @drummer1388 I could see throwing a stick being intentional, but the way he flinched and reached for it as it slipped makes me HIGHLY doubt that was intentional. but messing up in music is all about how you recover since everyone's gonna mess up.

  • I so wanna try this! I think I could too! Fucking sickk!

  • The pyjamas made it!

  • i wish my marching band was aloud to this kind of stuff. we are not allowed to do diddles, windmills, or sweeps. -.-

  • @wtf0nly3k

Do you live in the middle east? haha I'm sorry but that really is unfortunate

  • @RVParsenal11 no north carolina haha. but he tells the tenorsif they crossover they are doing it for visual but its easier to play the notes with crossovers and he makes them learn it without crossovers.

  • @wtf0nly3k if i were you, i'd quit...

  • @DanReed94 of course i am kidding look at him he is amazing.

  • la maraca de la bestia

  • I need to take a bubble bath now.

  • He is almost as good as me >.>

  • anyone know the exact height of the rim from the drum head on standard large tenors?

  • @pooperscooper994 maybe like half inch Id say

  • @rockstarduh5 alright thanks. im trying to make rims for my heavy hitter pad. lol.

  • @pooperscooper994 No problem. Those rims will sure get ya when you are doing sweeps

  • Tim Jackson blue devils snare solo drumline sweet awesome sex

  • i, for one, think its a good thing he dropped the stick! it means he's relaxed!

  • DAAANGG!!! thats almost as good as the "chelsea Bucketline" videos!!!!!

  • Someone needs to contact Tim and tell him to try shownig his ability on America's Got Talent.

  • Wow I hope u aren't really calling him bad or stupid because he dropped his mallet. It's a competition, he did that on purpose so he could get recovery points

  • pretty good recovery tho

  • wow what a fucking idiot, dropping his mallet, no skill whatsoever

  • @gibson1789 that was a joke right? cuz if uve ever played tenors, ud know just how hard this is. he drums faster than ur daddy jerks u off u fag.

  • @gibson1789 i assume u think you can do better?

  • Awesome

But why was everyone laughing when he used the mallets??

  • @sawfish33 He's playing the Godfather theme, the Blue Devil's show that year

  • @sawfish33 He plays the godfather theme, the BD show that year

  • i met him this week and he was AWESOME!!!! he is really funny too. haha

  • Him dropping his sticks proves he's human

  • Why were people laughing at 2:38?

  • @nstrikefromnerfhaven cause he's playing the godfather theme from their show that year.

  • I like how this video revolves around a dropped stick to some people. Is that really the most interesting thing to you guys? I REALLY hope that you learned something more from this video. Loved it. 5 stars!

  • hey! watch out for those upside down playing zones! lol this is so sweet! he really is amazing, and so what if he dropped a stick? he got first and im pretty sure if i was the judge i would have been like "umm yea automatic one!" as soon as i saw them bring out three tenors and saw that it was tim jackson! lol haha

  • what is the instument called :D

  • Beast!!!

  • Amazing, but I like the one he did in 2005 better.

  • DO NOT TALK CRAP. Oh my God man he just dropped his stick and decided he was gonna play what he was supposed to his right hand, which in most cases is harder to do than ACTUALLY playing it.......do that, then you can talk mess about tim jackson.

  • Lol this guy's awesome. But i love how he is sponsoring Vic Firth, When he drops a stick. I'm just sayin.

  • thats awsome he played it off like a pro

  • @matrixfoxtard he IS a pro.

  • Rofl it was kinna funny when he dropped the stick cuz he was like "Fuck" and went to go get it and decided to be leet and play with one for a sec haha...i would never be able to do that and if dropping a stick is th
