Not necessarily. A person can have very specific defects and be functional in other ways. I for example struggle with elementary mathematics, but am pretty well rounded in other respects and am proficient at computer programming.

I saw something similar to number 4 in the discovery channel once. In a town in switzerland they came up with these glasses where you would be wondering around town and you would see kind of a virtual reality world of how the town used to look in the middle ages or something, but it only covered one eye so you could still function. It's not such a crazy idea.

@bicycleghost41 yes they are... you can't change the reality just by looking thru some glasses, you can make a couple of small "TV's" so everything looks different.. otherwise you could just draw a plain in paint and show it in the glasses to then go ahead and fly in it. that's impossible, and it sounds like that's how he means it..

It's just really annoying that he has to laugh at everything whether he thinks something's funny or not.
