I first heard Claudia Schmidt do this song when I was 17 in Green Bay Wisconsin. I tried to find it after that, but didn't find it until I attended my good friend Molly's Mom's funeral in Iowa... there, in the cathedral hymnal. I added it to my repertoire, but it was nothing like this amazing arrangement by John Kimsey... it is so fulfilling to work with a band that you are a FAN of. I LOVE my LIFE! lol
