Black people of the African Diaspora come in all hues.... but the 'elite' blacks tend to be on the lighter side...tis is not by accident, I think it would be really positive if more darker skinned more west african people had more wealth too

What positive change would that make? Nothing. Complexion is complexion and color is color. Doesn't mean a thing. There are plenty of darker skinned blacks in the circles I net work in, there are also many lighter skinned blacks as myself and my family. Why would we need more of one complexion to make a positive change?

@lx0az9 My sister works with many Africans who come from wealthy families in Africa. One of her clients hates the US because she cannot employ someone to drive her around for $1.00 a day, in the US as she can in Africa.
Yes, this African person who is upper class employs a lower class African to work for her. Class or socio economic separation is not a solely European practice...

I also know that wealthy ppl from third wld countries adopt the taste and preferences of ppl in the western industrialized countries which they use to exploit there own ppl.
